I'll say this. If you give up a feature you really want, you'll regret not waiting it out. I found a delicately used Roush RS2, 2 hours from me right when COVID hit so I lucked out timing wise, where you are buying at the worst possible time to buy a used car. I wanted Magnaride, active...
Considering the investment, you might consider doing a nationwide search. Maybe you can find something 1,200 miles away that is what you want at a much better price point for the mileage. Then you can fly out to see it (flights are cheap now) and pay a grand to have it shipped to you. I'd pay...
All I know is the Blue Dials with Red needles are plenty awesome. I go with Digital Speed readout and outside of RPM hardly ever look at the speedo. But did I say the Blue was awesome?
I admit that a cold start with my non-baffled performance exhaust is pretty loud. But if it's early, I just start it with the garage door shut, then open it. Unless you get on it, you can keep it pretty tame noise wise with your right foot. I think it's (active exhaust) probably something...
Though this may be true in some cases, IMO there is a "sweet spot" to be had. I got the exact same term when I bought my used 2018 as I could get if buying new. Term length is the key if you are a payment buyer. I let the original owner take the 20K depreciation hit over the first two years...
Yeah, I would have certainly preferred it if mine had it, but it was unicorn Roush 2 hours from me, used with 5700 miles, during the COVID... so I got an insane deal both on the car side and my trade in side. Couldn't pass it up. I came from a G37x on 18" All Seasons, which was a very good...
I'll have to disagree here. Stick + Traffic = Life SUCKS. Once you learn how to wring the right responses out of the A10 and using the paddle only mode, there is no honest person who can say you can't drive this setup "spiritedly." My understanding is this is a DD. I also understand you are...
Well, I don't know that this covers the third option. This was the response from your chat:
It is excluded. Package has to be installed by Ford, not dealer.
Roush in Plymouth Michigan is NOT a "dealer." They are also not the Ford assembly line. When I asked Flood via email, I was so...
A certain friction modifier does indeed make it disappear and the amount of data saying it does is very large. I am part of that data. It was night and day and quite immediate. If the tick bothers you, there is a fix (to be clear from HEARING it) and the data that says it will cause you a...
I agree with this. Search far and wide and cite ONE individual who has stated that they used Ceratec, then got an engine problem the stealer refused to warranty because they used Ceratec. It's not the advisor who has to live with the tick (which they consider in spec). It's you. Of course...
I personally love my RS2 A10. Mine did not have the active exhaust, just the standard Roush Performance Exhaust. But it has baffles installed that are easy to remove. That really woke up the soul of the car. I think the Mach is cool too. Can't go wrong with a special edition of some type...
I've run it for about 2K miles. No ill effects. Just no tick. Total change in seconds. Used a little oil before, uses a little oil now. I just used one can and probably will do the same thing at my next oci. If half the recommended dose gets the job done, it's just additional savings IMO...
