  1. Winter wheels that fit our Bullitt's

Right foot under dry conditions vs right foot under wet and slippery conditions perhaps?
  2. Ford ESP Warranty vs my Roush Phase 2 Vehicle

This was my question on Jul 20, 2020: Good afternoon, I have a 2018 Roush Stage 2 with 6,200 miles on it. It does NOT have a Supercharger or any engine modifications whatsoever. Only the base RS2 package which is aero kits, 20" wheels and summer tires, height adjustable only coil over...
  3. Ford ESP Warranty vs my Roush Phase 2 Vehicle

I have an RS2. (Stage 2, non-Supercharged) I can speak to what I was told by a Flood Ford Representative. That my car WILL qualify for one of their Ford Extended Warranties when I'm ready to get it. To me, there was no benefit to buy the warranty until my factory bumper to bumper was about to...
  4. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

I prefer the SP2. Looks mean, which is what I tend to like.
  5. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

I'll give you the same advice I got when I first got my Roush and was debating mods vs keeping everything stock. This is YOUR car. Make it YOURS.
  6. Best Performance All Season Tires for Stock PP Wheels?

Only had the Conti's out in the dry so far. I went with 19" and 40's replacing my 20 and 35 Summer setup. I definitely notice a ride difference. Quite a bit more compliant. I assume it's a combination of softer compound and more sidewall. With the softer ride, also comes a little squishier...
  7. SHELBY COST AT DEALERSHIP

May want to check these guys out. I cannot vouch for them, just ran across it. Saying GT500 at MSRP. Unsure of the compliance reqs. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/new-mustang-pricing-invoice-4.154317/
  8. SHELBY COST AT DEALERSHIP

Only when they move from California because of the taxes, to a place that isn't like that, then they vote for the same type of people they did when they lived in California... who then promptly raise taxes...
  9. Dirty behind

Yeah the all gloss black on my RS2 is a total dirt magnet. I just washed mine yesterday and it seemed like by the time I'd get back around the car it was already needing another wipe off... First world problems...
  10. My Black Mach 1 Landed!

Congrats man! I think they missed the boat by not using real lights in the grill, no shaker hood and no side vents like the 69. Those three styling changes would have really gone a lot further to give a nod to the original, but not trying to be the turd in the punch bowl man. Looks sweet and...
  11. Pilot AS4 vs ContiExtremeContact DWS

Yes, it is a square setup. I've got them around 35 now. I'll see how that works out and tweak from there. Many Thanks!
  12. Pilot AS4 vs ContiExtremeContact DWS

Thanks just wasn’t sure because the sticker was based on 275/35r20s it came with and I was moving to 255/40r19s so thought I should seek some advice. Thanks all.
  13. Pilot AS4 vs ContiExtremeContact DWS

I just put on Conti Extreme Contact DWS06's in 255/40R19. Max inflation number is 51psi. But the Extreme Contact Sports (275/35R20) that came on my Roush say the same 51 max. But the recommendation on the sticker inside the driver side door says 33 psi which is what I've been running them at...
  14. Best Performance All Season Tires for Stock PP Wheels?

I just made that decision myself. I have a Roush RS2 based off the PP1 platform. I went with a square setup. 19x8.5s with Conti Extreme Contact DWS06's in 255 40R19s. I am literally waiting on my torque wrench to arrive so I can install them. So unfortunately I can't really comment. Only...
  15. Help me in choosing my next mustang, gt or ecoboost?

Yeah, hit the highway set the cruise and get to your MPG monitor and see what you get after a decent stretch. With it sitting in 10th gear not adding or subtracting much throttle for a bit you’ll see what it’s capable of. What actually happens when your foot needs to be happy, well....
  16. Help me in choosing my next mustang, gt or ecoboost?

I haven't driven an EB, but my last 3 cars were G37X's, (3.7L V6) an Acura TL (3.2L V6) before that, then a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T. (2.0L Turbo 4). So I'm not trying to be a V8 snob. I know there are many ways to make a car fun to drive. I loved the sound of my G's. 7,000 rpm and a...
  17. Help me in choosing my next mustang, gt or ecoboost?

I'd split the advantages and go with a 2018 GT Premium. Then if you want to mod it as you go, do that. This will give you the A10 for the best mileage when cruising, allow someone else to take the major depreciation hit and you get a "real" Mustang complete with V8 rumble. There are still...
  18. Ceratec in oil- how badly does it discolor it?

I took the plunge. One can of Ceratec. No more tick. Slightly lower oil pressure. Nothing has exploded. Will do again next oil change.
  19. 2018 GT PP1 Winter Wheels/Tires

I'd like to run this, but my car sits on Roush adjustable coil overs and is lowered. I bought it that way and I just don't know "how much" off of stock it is. I'd take the added sidewall for better comfort in winter conditions but I'm afraid of rubbing. Currently running 20x9.5 and Conti...
  20. Why DIDN'T you get a camaro?

The benefit is a massive improvement of field of view in a car with terrible fields of view. If I was going to go Camaro, I certainly wanted this option. IF it fails in the middle of driving you still have your mirrors as a backup.
