Interesting review by the OP. Although Less Weight came from a Honda background and I've been a Mustang guy for 30 years, I don't really disagree with his impression. However, I think the car's biggest shortcomings (lack of power, lack of sound, vague suspension) are all easily remedied with...
It's okay to run the can itself either way. There's not an inlet/outlet. The lines only matter if you have a one way check valve in one. Do you? (billet aluminum check valve with an arrow on it)
There's a club called something like Gulf Shore Mustang Club which has get togethers in Fort Myers. Palm Beach Cars & Coffee is HUGE, but it's 2.5 hours away.
Then there's actually some decent action in Mexico on Saturday nights... if you're into that sort of thing...
I'm trying to figure out how much it would cost to retrofit my 2016 5.0 (non PP) with front & rear GT350 brakes. Wasn't sure exactly which parts were required to complete the system. Help?
Great looking cars! Hey, can one of you with a GT350R please do me a favor?? Can you please measure from the ground to the fender lip, front and back? (like straight up the center of the wheel. It'll probably be around 27.5")
I wouldn't recommend this. Part of the aesthetic enhancement is that the Cervini's grilles move the leading edges of the grills forward, so they look deeper. You would have a mismatch if you do a Cervini's upper with a stock lower.
Not to mention a significant different in finishes- the stock...
You can't adjust the IC or AS on these cars. It's a completely different way of thinking than the fox body cars.
Based on the mod list in your sig, the only other thing you can do (and may have already done) is dial in the alignment for drag. Well, that and run smaller brakes so you can run...
It's pretty obvious that the Shelby was just getting acclimated. New car, new track, or both. My favorite part of the video was around 5:08... right when I was thinking to myself "man, that shelby does not sound like he's pushing it at all, too quiet, RPMs too low..." suddenly he drops the...
ohhhhh yeah. I tend to go overboard. My last two Mustang projects were featured in magazines. :D
I generally build toward a street-driven HPDE style. The car already has full suspension and some cosmetics. It'll get a little more cosmetic work, ridiculous wheels & brakes, and then I'll move...
Ha! Thanks. And yeah, there is at least one cop on every street in my neighborhood. I like that! BTW, this officer has a pretty nice C6 Corvette. :headbang:
