It comes with a tune. Install the Cai, throttle body, and flash the tune. That's it. You can do it yourself or have anyone do it. If you want to retain your warranty, you'll need to go to a Ford dealer or an ASE certified mechanic.
I'm late to the party, but well said. It's more bothersome when people post their heights. I mean, I don't know about you, but I'm not able to stand in a car. If anything, people should post their seating height.
I did the same except I went with a corbeau evolution x seat. Best investment...
It still makes me worry though because I'm positive it never went above 40psi until after the first oil change. I'm at least glad that it stops at 80psi now.
My oil pressure gauge only goes to 100psi, so I can only assume it was 100psi and not more. Moving along, I went ahead and added 2 bottles of ceratec and after the 30 minute break in cycle, I started driving the car hard. At 3k, the oil pressure would still climb, but it never peaked higher...
Welp, after about 20k miles and 3 oil changes, it never went lower. After my first oil change, I noticed it went to 80psi after 3k rpms. After my most recent oil change it now spikes to 100psi. I'm going to try it just to see if this helps with the oil flow thus reducing my oil pressure. I...
Yeah, it's a square setup with little to no protection. You can see from this post https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/ford-performance-released-its-pp2-replica-wheels.137142/page-4#post-2843002 that the tire is pretty flush. 285/35/19 on the the SVE SP2 19x10. I like my square setup...
That makes sense since the pp2 wheels poke. However, you may get used to running the 9.5/10 setup and then when summer comes, you may get too close to the curb with your pp2 wheels. I have 285/35 on my 19x10 SVE wheels and there's very little protection for the rim. I'd imagine 275 wouldn't...
The post states that they have pp2 wheels with 275 all season tires installed and the end goal is to install 305 tires on the stock wheels after moving the 275 tires to a winter set of wheels. If they know the 275s fit on stock pp2 wheels, why not stick with the pp2 sizing? I'm only curious...
I haven't touched any additives yet. On my 18, I never really paid attention to my oil pressure gauge until after my first oil change. I don't remember if it ever went over 40psi. However, after my first oil change done at the dealer (it was free), I noticed it would spike at 3k to around 80...
Do you have an oil pressure gauge? I'm curious if you've been keeping an eye on it and if this made any difference during spirited driving. These cars seem to really spike above 3k rpms.
I was looking up the part number (JR3Z6344210AA) and couldn't find any ford parts site that would list whether it's painted or not. Do you happen to have a link?
EDIT: I just confirmed with @LevittownFordParts that it is indeed Absolute Black.
I thought the same thing, but as someone just replied, LMR stated it's simply because they have no idea when they'll get a new shipment. These wheels are really popular, so I believe they decided to remove it from the site to reduce the influx of queries.
I'm pretty sure it's painted an Absolute Black gloss finish like the gt350 track pack spoiler.
EDIT: Confirmed with @LevittownFordParts that it's Absolute Black.
I'm sure you'll need spacers if you do. I made a post about the size earlier in this thread.
Unfortunately the SVE SP2s are no longer available for the time being and it's unknown when they'll be back again.
The performance pack and non-PP have different belly pans, not to mention different splitters. This won't fit unless you get a performance pack belly pan and splitter first.
I was thinking Ford Performance. They don't make a gt350/r style wheel, but they make a pp2 style wheel. It's still odd regardless. Hopefully we know what's going on soon.
