What year is your vehicle? I just grabbed the most recent test video:

Do you know something about this blower no one else does? We will know soon enough how it performs and hopefully the reliability factor. Though this is a very small sample size! I think there is a definite niche for a street blower in this price range for say 100HP (Or less) and 50-80TQ over...
Congrats on being the first "around here" I believe. Who is doing the install? What about tune? Is your car a daily driver? What are your expectations?
Will definitely be looking for updates!
I thought he was parting this out back to stock? Can't remember where I saw that. Just an amazing ride that's for sure. Probably the only auto I'd ever consider.
Just noticed the Ecoboost 2.3 High Performance Package for 2021 is now $6095. Yikes. Trying to figure out the differences between 2020 and 2021. But damn that's expensive. I thought it may include the magna ride but it doesn't. That's an additional $1995 like 2020.
We may see less and less...
I'm guessing cost is the reason. Just because it usually is, whether part or all. Development, production and onto the consumer. Would be interesting if one of them could pop in and say whether it was ever considered.
Like this (?): http://www.siliconeintakes.com/front-mount-intercooler/water-to-air-intercoolers-p-214.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiApY6BBhCsARIsAOI_GjYav62c4d7B46JeRf7FzDnJtx7HDMd1AxUUQ4TwUviStyaPB34nzSEaAhjmEALw_wcB
Or the Vortech Aftercooler?
Cot damn nice Thunderbird!! I was going to bid on this: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988-ford-thunderbird-6/
But my max would have been $10k-$11k and it went through that on day 2. Would have been a dumb purchase for me anyhoo. I grew up with a kid that had 2 SVO's when they came...
I was hoping TorqStorm would come out with a blower for the newer Mustang but it doesn't sound like that's on their agenda yet. Takes a lot of R&D I'm sure. I don't see a CARB listing for this ESS so I doubt it's 50 State legal. That also takes a lot of money. (CARB)
I did a search and didn't see anything. I stumbled upon a very recent youtube video for a new blower for the Mustang 5.0 2015-2021. (Among other vehicles) At least I think it's new. Video: Company site for 18-21 Mustang blower: https://esstuning.com/ford/mustang-15-s550/gt-18/
Seems like...
It probably is. Just magazine racing here, but Car and Driver tested a 6M 2018 Ecoboost Mustang:
0-60=5.1
1/4 Mile=13.7@102MPH
2020 Ecoboost Mustang HPP 6M
0-60=5.0
1/4 Mile=13.6@102MPH
Looking at those numbers, a $5k difference seems crazy.
Should (And probably will be) be sooner than 15 years. Elon will buy either Ford or GM before then and then shit gets real. Hope he shits on the unions in the process.
Only 3 manuals in the N. Virginia area and 23 autos. Some just arrived so they are still making them. But probably selling like crap. Noticed they all have a $3500 rebate according to the Ford.com website. That's not bad at all. If you can get the dealer to match (or more) and add some...
As The Great Reset gets into high gear starting tomorrow at 12:00ET, there will be a lot of changes many won't "approve" of. It's not going to be easy from here on out for many. As far as the Mustang, it either goes EV or just plain goes away. Same with the Corvette. And Camaro.
The sooner...
