Those are great numbers for a great price. Something I would definitely consider.
I wonder what the price is on a complete stage 1 kit that I would install myself? I'm curious what the everyday price is not the temporary promotional price.
I finally got my WM garage shifter knob installed with the manual shift boot on my base 2015 GT. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Installation was a breeze outside of fiddling with securing the boot.
It definitely takes a bit more effort to shift through the gears but it feels fine to me. I...
They probably haven't finalize them yet, don't want to tip their hat to GM, or they want the media to focus on the other aspects of the car.
Or maybe they don't want to make promises they can't back up, ala the 2015 weight reduction (or lack thereof) fiasco?
I like the pre-painted panels though I wonder if I match my body color (Magnetic) that I'll create a large wall of color in the rear? I think gloss black will be preferable for me.
I'll have to check with my local auto body guy but I'm sure I can get the MMD matte black panel for $159 and get...
I don't care for the front end, the rear end is not bad minus that spoiler.
They could have just kept the body as is and just made a few semi-affordable specialty models, i.e. Mach I, Bullitt, etc..,
I could live with the refresh if they were dropping some weight and adding 35-50 HP, but I'd...
I'm not interested in buying one but am happy cars like this are even available to anyone who can afford one.
The naming from Dodge needs some revamping though, they are just trying to shoehorn old car names into one model. :p
Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.
What's next?
Dodge Charger SRT Super...
You have a few options/outcomes:
1) All the available power bolts-ons and accept high 300's-low 400's RWHP.
2) Same as above + cams, ported heads and maybe approach mid 400's RWHP on 93? Probably won't be emissions legal without messing with CEL's. Lot of money for just another 50 or so RWHP...
I'm definitely interested but not holding my breath for a hybrid V-8 no matter what they say.
My only concern is the car is heavy enough as is. Also, if they add the electric batteries and reduce that weight with lighter weight materials the price is probably going to push up even more.
Those look perfect on your car!
How is it on non smooth roads with the 305's on the front? Does the car hunt around with the road imperfections? Just curious.
Thanks
Is that a Magnuson S/C? Is the 591 rwhp figure on a stock motor and with what Psi?
If it's under $6000 w/ install what is the base price kit complete with tune and no install?
Thanks
I'm in the same boat looking for options as I want a plain gloss black decklid.
I will probably get it painted and it should be a close enough match to the gloss tailight housings. Anything is better than that awful primer looking decklid finish.
They could make a killing and sell a ton more...
Maybe you got a bad unit or the tolerance stack up between the Ford part and the WM part is causing the interference.
I just got mine today and will be installing it in the next week. I'll report back with my results and hopefully I don't have the same issue.
I'm anxious to see what WM has to...
Plus it doesn't help they added a throttle body and headers to the included dyno figures.
That's how manufacturers hide real gains by playing the shell game with different parts instead of making one change and posting the gains/losses.
I would sell them; you're not going to break them in an A6 car.
I can't see breaking them unless someone is pushing 750+ RWHP with a high stall converter and drag radials; even then maybe?
