It’s irrelevant imo. We have coyotes running 500k miles in trucks with no catch can. why would you want oil vapor stickying up your engine bay on a stock engine that routinely goes 200k with no mods
just get a catch can and be done with it
I would caution you against messing with the pcv. You’d be surprised how much a change in the pcv can affect tuning. I know these cars will probably adapt to it within a few miles of driving but why mess with it on a stock car?

That’s either rod knock or a very, very noisy DI injector about to take a crap and hydrolock/lean melt your engine.
Needs to go back asap and you need to be assertive with them about taking it back because that’s not right.

Actually the resonators are pretty thick and dampen the sound quite well. It’s just about perfect. About as loud as my boss’s factory scatpack with valved exhaust.
I put them directly onto the back of the x-pipe. The factory mid resonator was way too quiet though it did give the car a nice tone.
