Iām not a monster fan of either tbh. Neither material matches the factory interior materials well. do legitimately have ocd though so I doubt most people would notice lol. If I did it again Iād have an upholstery shop run me some piping and let them match the leather texture to the seats.
out...
Fair enough, I dropped off those forums after my deal fell through in 2020. Probably like some mustangs are allegedly dynoing 410hp stock with an auto trans. Lol. Still a damn nice car and youāre right about the b58, itās the modern 2jz imo.
When I almost bought one of these cars in 2020, they were dynoing anywhere from 380-400 at the wheels. I came real close to buying one and at one point was about $2k apart on a deal and was waiting the dealer out. Then Covid hit and I decided to keep my car for a few more years (In hindsight...
Good tip on the sonax, my buddy with the SS 1LE has sweaty hands and his alcantara wheel looks like leather and he was asking me how to fix it, now we have an answer š
I would say that the scratch on the front bumper cover would buff out easily and is probably also from the license plate bracket before they switched to what looks like a no drill version.
I aināt flying 1000 miles to go see it but if I was in Cali Iād check it out
Iāll drop this in the chat for the peanut gallery to discuss also:

Probably does need tires but would still be under 50k with new tires. Our friend has some stringent requirements lol.
Itās worth a look imo especially for a track pack car. Iāve been doing my budget for the year and deciding if I can move up into a 350 at the end of the year and this is one of...
I never said a gt350r was 45-50k, Iāve had a few concussions in my life but I donāt have brain damage. Lol. Title of the thread says GT350.
But hereās a nice one owner 350 track pack in the price range I was talking about ...
I have this exact problem and thatās the perfect description, like a hinge. My charger, on 10 year old rubber and weighing 1200lbs more, feels more planted in the corners.
what Iām hearing is steeda brace for sure, white line bushings, and what about the upr billet irs links?
I was all in on proflex a few months ago but ther 10% gain claim is bogus. If you watch YouTube videos of guys installing it and doing a dyno itās more like a 2-3% gain.
eBay. Took forever to get here from China.

The leather piping I replaced it with was also from eBay and was a bitch to install...
Just inserts and console lid would probably be $700 or so. Might be worth it. I just did this (though have now upgraded to leather piping instead of plastic like in pic) it cost $3 for the plastic and $20 for the leather
Exactly. Lol. The dude in the original post should just replace his damn taillight and keep the pics and old one for the story in the future. My PP1 was an unintentional spoiler delete car too, it actually made the car less valuable because most casual buyers couldnāt tell it was a PP1.
Also the punchline of the article is that fuel dilution turns your oil from a 40w to a 30w. Ummm no? Alcohol isnāt a lubricant. It turns your oil into contaminated 40w. Meaning it needs to be changed sooner, not have the oil be thicker to start out with š¤¦
My thoughts, thatās one of the worst car articles Iāve read in some timeā¦I think you should use a good quality full synthetic and change it every 3-4k miles.
There is no way in hell that e85 dilutes the oil on a modern direct injection engine more than an older carbed engine would. The same...
