  1. BOV question

So you have to run a hose from the BOV back into the intake for the reduction in noise? If you just add a filter to the end of the BOV, it will still be quite loud?
  2. air inlet temp

What kit do you have? Allot of tunes are setup that as IATs increase past a certain threshold, timing is pulled from the tune. Excessive heat, lower power, reduced timing lower power.
  3. BOV question

Yes, new to me too. I added the regular 50mm and it is loud. Would like a quieter option.
  4. BOV question

That link is for a recirculating valve. Would one just add a filter to the end and that would quiet it down?
  5. BOV question

When letting off on high boost, the BOV will flutter quite a bit. I also noticed under full WOT at higher boost and letting off the throttle, the car would continue to accelerate for a split second or two. Kinda felt like the BOV was not letting enough air bypass out fast enough, thus keep the...
  6. First Scratch - AAaaarghh

Damn OP, your worst then me, lol.
  7. BOV question

My BOV on the 2200 kit would not keep up running 12#s+. I went with a Tial aftermarket also and it definitely louder and more annoying. I wish a filter could be added, but it just pops open.
  8. Whipple guys...flight control and tune?

Curious to know how the use of 1st gear is with the flight control. Anyone want to share?
  9. GT350 steering wheel

Hmm.....you are priced much higher then what they cost new from Ford.
  10. First night with whipple at the track.

You are some good air away from 130+ traps. e85 and some more tuning would rip.
  11. First night with whipple at the track.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. MPH was down because of the air density. Getting closer to 0, will get the traps over the 130mph.
  12. First night with whipple at the track.

Ha Ha, you forgot to quote the rest. He sure did pick up mph on his regular tires, right?
  13. First night with whipple at the track.

Of course there is a difference. The difference is from traction, or gearing change from the tire size or height of the sidewall. I run 275/45/17 drag radials with zero spin on my auto setup. Switching to a full slick is not going to cut my time or mph. I already have zero spin. Now if I have...
  14. First night with whipple at the track.

Never noticed someone posting I just went 9.5s@144 and made 800rwhp. But would of went 148 traps if I had a non slick on there, lol.
  15. First night with whipple at the track.

Does not have to do with the compound of the tire either. As you stated has to do with the size of the sidewall.
  16. First night with whipple at the track.

It's more like street tires inflate trap speed from all the spinning and extra time lost. I race 1000hp cars at the track to. Any tire that holds correctly gets you the correct trap speed for the power your making
  17. First night with whipple at the track.

Slicks ate up some mph, lol????
  18. Custom twins!

What is the thickness on that core? I am looking to upgrade from 3.5" and wondering what will fit.
  19. Ford Explorer Sport ('16/'17)

Is the Gen II capable of more power?
  20. Max Timing 93?

Boost and elevation play factors in your timing. I am 5200' elevation and we lose quite a bit of power up here with the thinner air. But we can command more timing then at sea level. I had 18-19 degrees of timing with 11#s of boost, but that is at high elevation. From what I have heard, 16...
