  1. What did you do to your GT350 today?

    SRP pedals.
  2. What did you do to your GT350 today?

After installing the MGW shifter a couple months back, I started playing around with a few different shift knobs and MGW handles. I’ve officially settled on their longer M12x1.25 handle and feel that I’ve found the perfect knob; Billetworkz weighted Fusion (500g). Incredible feel and driving...
  3. Virginia Sold: 2020 GT350 calipers

Recently installed GT350R calipers, no reason to let these collect dust. All 4 are in fantastic condition; no damage, pistons and seals great as well. Cleaned, degreased, and ready to install. These came off of my ā€˜20 HEP @ 15,700 miles. Located in Chesapeake, VA. Willing to ship or travel a...
  4. Brake pad/rotor; insufficient contact

    Haha, I like that!
  5. Brake pad/rotor; insufficient contact

Thanks for the support, everyone. šŸ˜†
  6. Brake pad/rotor; insufficient contact

A first for sure! Thankfully, no apparent damage to either side of the pad or rotor. Looks like the brake grease kept things safe. Just a big brake clean now.
  7. Brake pad/rotor; insufficient contact

Well, figured it out. Big slice of humble pie and quite embarrassing, but I feel it’s important to share publicly to emphasize the importance of PROPER installation. A byproduct of rushing a job in the midst of military retirement, college, fatherhood, life. A good reminder to slow it down no...
  8. Brake pad/rotor; insufficient contact

Pads and rotors looked perfect before replacing the calipers. No issues before this. The calipers (along with ss lines) are the only new parts in the braking system.
  9. Brake pad/rotor; insufficient contact

Thanks! I was wondering if I should get some more bedding on it.
  10. Brake pad/rotor; insufficient contact

Before I go full send and rip the entire braking system apart, again, was hoping someone could bless me with their wisdom in this. Recently installed GT350R calipers (new), reused factory pads and rotors, installed new TTY bolts on all 4 corners. However, the front left outboard rotor surface...
  11. What did you do to your GT350 today?

A little ceramic goes a long way on calipers with a gloss finish.
  12. J&M clutch line

I was working with Brian @ J&M over the last couple weeks regarding their fixed ss clutch line. I’ve seen that this only had fitment for the Mach 1, but I came across a video where a GT350 owner installed one a while ago. This sparked Brian’s interest and so he sent me a line to test fit. While...
  13. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Finally got around to installing new R calipers along with J&M lines.
  14. Parking brake cable retainer (WTF)

Thanks for all the responses! When I got to the left side, the retainer stayed installed, which led me to see that the retainer can be installed fully seated before dropping the cable into the bracket. I guess I just had to apply a little common sense.
  15. Parking brake cable retainer (WTF)

Completely showing my ass here. I’m a pretty confident and occasionally cocky DIY’r, but this parking brake assembly is just silly. Installing GT350R calipers. Successfully removed the right rear assembly to get the caliper off, by loosening tension from the trans tunnel mechanism. Caliper...
  16. What did you do to your GT350 today?

If you can get the car up on 4 jackstands, I say do it. Nothing really difficult about it and no crazy unicorn tools needed.
  17. Brake squeal healthy pads?

Normal. I've lived through this for many years with my old M-cars, and now my 2020 GT350. Not to worry though, just a byproduct of the pad material. I have noticed that if I do a good wheel cleaning, to include an iron remover, it'll get a lot of the junk out of the caliper and clean it up...
  18. New Shelby American GT350

That’s my thinking and why I’m perplexed. I want to be REALLY excited about this, but I’m not.
  19. New Shelby American GT350

Just watched it, very exciting. However, I might be a bit ignorant here, this doesn’t seem to be a heavy RDT&E effort like the 16-20 GT350, guessing because Ford may not be involved?
  20. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Car likely didn’t need it, but replaced the fuel filter, car has 15k miles. Super easy job and not as messy as I thought it would be. I’ve been on a warpath replacing every consumable and fluid on this car to rebase it all.
