Went for an oil change today and found out my CV joint boot on left rear axle was slinging grease everywhere. This was my first oil change at 1070 miles. Tech believes the boot clap was over torqued from the factory. I'm glad the tech found it. They are ordering a new axle, scheduled the...
Got my supplement package yesterday! Funny, I called them yesterday to find out when I would get it. They said it was supposed to ship Oct 1, but it doesn't show any movement and that he would need to call me back. Then 15 minutes later he called and said it was delivered today... LOL. Sure...
LOL, I have a Nissan Altima and Chevy Equinox for daily drivers, that's about as blah as you get. When the brakes squeal on these I know I need new pads. Not sure when I will need pads on the GT350... they squeal every time I drive it. I guess I'll have the dealership inspect the pads in...
That's what I was curious about, if I not going to track it and I bed-in the brakes then drive on the street, wouldn't normal driving just remove the pad material that was applied from bedding them?
Yeah, I'm having a tough time determining where I'm going to bed-in the brakes. I researched how to do it last night and it requires 3 to 4 medium stops from 45mph, but not actually stop, reduce speed to 15mph then 8 to 10 more aggressive stops from 60 mph, but again not actually stop, reduce...
Good point once you've experienced the car on a track then drive it on the street I bet it's hard to refrain from mashing it. This car wants you to hammer it! I plan to attend the track attack next year. From what I read, you learn so much more about the car.
Agree, it's meant for the track, on the street it's difficult to find a location to stretch it out. I have waze app going and radar detector... not full proof, but it's better than nothing. Race Red and the loudness alone brings a lot of attention.
Found this label yesterday cleaning my exhaust tips. I assume it's the label PN for the exhaust. Has this happened to anyone? I wash the car twice a week. It was just laying there ready to fall out.
Update on the car: I'm blown away by this car. Absolutely love it. I don't track it or...
Mine takes a long time to reach temp if the outside temperature is cold (as expected). Last weekend the temperature in the early morning was 48 F and I drove it 35 minutes not going above 3K RPM and it only reached 175 degrees. I found it I push it to 4K on shifts it will reach 190 degrees...
Thanks you
Funny, I just bought a escort passport 9500ix platinum from Coscto for $299. I bought a close mount and installed it yesterday evening, but after 10 minutes of use it displayed service and said call service.:frusty: I called, they said it's defective and it would be faster if I...

Update: I got ceramic coat applied yesterday (CQuartz). I'm very happy with it!!! Approaching 500 miles on her. It's such a blast to drive. Did have an off duty cop flash his badge at me at a stop light and tell me to slow it down.
I'm getting the windows tinted Saturday morning!
Thank you! I waited a long time for this. Waited to pick a car that I fell in love with the appearance, performance, and SOUND! This just checks all the boxes! Tinting the windows 20% next weekend.
