  1. S550 Headlights

I actually just found a couple kits that work with the D3S projector style that convert the factory HIDs to LED bulbs. I've been toying around with aftermarket HIDs for the different color temperatures and for road visibility as well. LEDs are much more efficient and brighter without the glare.
  2. Oil analysis, high iron?

I couldn't imagine driving my car 20,000 miles then changing the oil. Especially performance vehicles that rely on very tight clearances within the engine. Maybe its just personal preference but 3k has kept my vehicles going.
  3. Clicking sound

It might be the throttle body, the electric ones like to cycle themselves as a calibration mode. Battery being charged probably triggered it.
  4. 6 Month Oil Change?

My interval is 3 months or 3000 miles. Pennzoil Platinum.
  5. Oil analysis, high iron?

I've been around ASE Master Technicians who have said the Ford oil change intervals are complete BS. This might sound insane and expensive especially if you're using Amsoil but every 3000 miles I would change the oil. Even with those Ecoboost motors that tend to have problems with the turbos...
  6. Intake Thump - Thoughts?

With tunes sometimes a excess build up of carbon happens on the other side of the throttle body, you could try taking off the throttle body and seeing if there's any debris there. It's a odd noise for sure.

  9. S550 Headlights

I'm curious if anyone has used an HID to LED conversion kit on their Mustangs and how their experience was while installing it. I'm trying to convert mine as I've been having issues with aftermarket HIDS since I got the car. By the way, Ford makes it so unnecessarily difficult to change a...
  10. Ford giving up on the Ecoboost HPP already?

I would assume they haven't built the Ecoboost premiums at a high production level because of how expensive they are. I feel like if gas isn't a option more people would buy the GT for thirty grand.
  11. To Cover or Not to Cover your Mustang (that can only live outside)?

I wash mine and cover it especially during the winter, ends up saving a lot of time with snow removal. I try to wax my car every couple of months to add that extra layer of protection when I don't have the time to cover it. I haven't been driving often recently so I just cover it when I wont...
  12. 3.7 Exhaust Options

Thanks man! I think I'm going with the resonator delete x-pipe by flowmaster you've convinced me!
  13. 3.7 Exhaust Options

Hello! I was wondering if they made a dedicated H-pipe for the S550 V6 mustangs I can't seem to find any online and I am trying to steer away from the muffler shop universal pipes. Currently running the Roush Axlebacks and looking for a louder, throaty sound. I know they make flowmaster x-pipes...
