Ignore anything in the top section of the window sticker as it bears no resemblance to the spec of your Export car. There are no reverse sensors or ACC. There is a camera. It also states this in the price list on the Ford UK website.
I don't care what the future value will be, as this is a keeper for me. My comments are also directed to the export market, where numbers are limited with set amounts allocated to each region. In the US, you are probably correct that most orders will be fulfilled if people want one. But Ford is...
Congrats, it looks great!
I'm hoping to pick up my UK Mach 1 (M2198) from the dealer this week, after ordering in November 2020 and the car was built on the 29th March, it will finally be here.
OK, so I had a look at the UK configurator (as the Australian export cars are similar). I tried to spec a GT as close as possible to the Mach 1. Obviously, there are things missing like the coolers, Tremec gearbox etc. but I chose what I could to bring it in line with my Mach 1 spec.
So my Mach...
Your dealer is wrong. Rear camera only, no ACC and no reverse sensors. See the UK pricing guide for the correct details and point your dealer to them as well, so he can learn something about the car. It's the last two items in the Mach 1 bullet points...
They are not the same cars, that's why there is a difference in price. Plus the Mach is limited numbers.
You'll have to wait for the second-hand market and hope you can get one cheaper. But given they are going to be even more limited than originally planned (much less production time thanks to...
It's not missing any parts. They were never part of the export car for Australia, to begin with. Someone at Ford Australia messed up the spec of the brochure and photoshopped the images to show cars that never existed or were going to exist. Export cars have never had a Torsen diff.
Yes, it's...
Do it.
I'm going from a 2019 Need for Green manual (sold it in November) to a Grabber Yellow Mach 1, which should arrive any day now at the dealer (ordered in November, it's been a long wait).
I ordered in November and had the same March 5th initial build date for my UK car. It was built (with a large number of UK RHD cars) on the 29th of March and arrived in the UK docks on the 18th of this month. I will be collecting within a few days, I hope. However, some others with the same...
My 2019 had an H-pipe fitted with the active exhaust and it really changes the character of the sound. Quiet is still quiet enough if you have neighbours or leave early for work, but the track mode sounds like it should, with a bass-heavy low end and nice pops and bangs on the overrun. Proper...
