It's not. It's a replacement for the Bullitt in the Ford line-up. The Mach 1 has always traditionally been the car between the GT and the Shelby.

For me, the Mach 1 is the most advanced factory produced Mustang we are going to ever get in the UK. We were never going to get the GT350 due to legislation and as such all our Mustangs are slightly underpowered compared to the US equivalent, even the GT is underpowered compared to the US car...

You need the window sticker to get the order number, which is the four digits in the item # listed on the sticker, it's not your dealer order number. You can ask Joe in the Window Sticker thread in the ordering/tracking forum to get your sticker as it won't appear for you on any sticker site...

You can track your car through the German tracker, you just need your VIN and order number from the window sticker item #. I have been using it to keep an eye on my UK bound car.
