Well considering the 2017 model year is just about over, no spy shots of a GT500, and no credible information from anywhere yet, I don't see it happening.
Looks like it has the AS magnets so I would guess so.
Great shots, looks like so much fun. Its a great way to learn car control cheaply and safely. Do you have any experience autocrossing other cars? If so how does this compare?
Well since you have lots of time before you add the power, read through this: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49398
Then figure out the cost of the mods and the rwhp based on the responses. Hint, going NA will be much more expensive.
You can add it as an option on the build site. It seems as if its part of the regular production quantity and as many will be built as people order. I don't think there will be any extra competition series cars added to the total run.
+1. Its a marketing thing. The releases need to be spread out over a period of time. No point in doing it now because then there wouldn't be much more to report after that. It would make more sense in the spring time when people are actually thinking about buying a Mustang to generate more hype.
Thats not what the OP or PP0001 is talking about. Of course you can do it that way but you can't look at a VIN at a car show and know if its a tech or track/color/options, etc just from the number.
Don't all the Carmax cars have pictures? Did you already purchase the car, if so, why did you buy without knowing any of the details?
Also I tested this site and it seemed to pull up the option information. Try here: https://beaverdamautos.com/windowsticker.php
I swear, some of the people in here would take their car to the dealer if it got wet in the rain. Yes there is a dent and no its not an issue. And totaling the car...not even close
Just drive it, maybe spray some paint on there so it doesn't rust. Other than that you are fine.
No way its going to be AWD. And what cars do Dodge and Chevy have that are AWD? The Demon isn't going to be and not sure Chevy has a car like that anyways.
Who knows at this point, seems like there won't even be an S550 GT500 at all. Either that or they are keeping it as secretive at the Ford...
I have though most OEM flywheels are dual mass due to the positive NVH characteristics. Have any of the previous production Mustangs not had a dual mass flywheel? It seems like the '18 GT setup is very similar to the GT350 setup. I don't see many people having issues in that car.
