1) There is no adjusting the RaceValve (even though the internet thinks there is) just leave it how its set from the factory.
2) Seems like you are losing your boost/vacuum reference, check for pinched line, leaks, hot spots etc. Thats NOT compressor surge that you are hearing, since that...
I run many 1000+ HP cars on Meth systems. Haven't lost a motor in 15 years from it.... all comes down to quality install, quality tune, and a customer knowing the limits and how to fill and service those systems. (keeping quality M1 in the tank, cleaning the filters, cleaning the nozzles, etc)
I might get the analog "glow shift" gauge next, cause it kinda matches the factory gauges. I just don't trust digital gauges, cause many of them don't update to account for BARO changes.
If you have the GT350 intake, you need to set it up like the GT350. So the top of the canisters need to vent (to either open air, or the PCV). If the stuff gets routed wrong, you will stick the IMRC's closed and have terrible power, and possibly damage them.
I can't say that the stock...
4.75" @7400 rpm = 8.5psi
I would say with some good RPM you will make at least 13+ psi
And I can say that a P-1X on 15.5 psi on 110 octane will make 937 rwhp in SAE (DynoJet) and that wasn't even me leaning on it. That was literally the stock procharger tune, with good gas and a little more...
The ProCharger "canned" tunes still have all the factory knock sensor functions.....
So, run crap gas = get crap timing
run good gas = get good timing
Id have to dig through logs, but I believe the tune allows for a max of 23 degrees.
P1SC1 vs P1X.
I think I need to do a video of the differences. The P1SC1 is a very capable blower, however, the P1X will make about 10-20 more HP with the same size pulley. Since we have CARBEO#'s that are tied to an exact pulley size (meaning we can't change them) that is how we can sneak...
Holy Holy Holy! This thing is going to FLY!!!
A 4.38 pulley in this light of a car...will be a monster. Its going to come down to the trans tune, cause I have seen 1 second gain with just trans tuning, and no change in blower pulley. THAT is where the gains are.
I have a Gen2 Coyote Coupe...
Hmmm,
As funny as this post is to read, (knocking like the police).... I am going to have to say this is some major TROLL A ROLL A ROLL action. LOL.
#1) Our tunes are the same and have been for a thousand+ kits out there. Not like yours magically got the "knock knock, whos there" tune.
#2) I...
You can make 600-650 wheel on the stock injectors. (Both sets). 52's will be more then enough even if you wanna turn it up a bit. (don't know what they will support on Ethanol though)
BAP and stock fuel system (stock injectors) will support 650rwhp on pump gas. I have done as high as 670, but don't know if every car could support that, never tried it.
The old was the rubber... the new is the plastic.
I mean they are virtually the same, but the plastic obviously can not be smooshed and its true 4" all the way to the filter inlet.
E85 and 15psi with a ProCharger (D-1X or P-1X) can and will make 900 wheel, if your tuner is leaning on the tune and your ethanol is good quality.
I tuned another guys car on here that lurks... D-1X, Headers, E85, 15.8 psi = 937 wheel. I believe if memory serves correctly we turned it...
P-1X is a wicked blower
D-1X is a wicked, wicked blower on full song
If this car goes 7's with a D-1X... a LOT of folks with other power adders will be searching for new ways to hate on it. LOL.
Its awesome for guys that are fully max effort (like the 1,511 rwhp GT350 with the F1A94)
However, our new plastic STG2 inlet and the massive filter are pretty stellar up to 1000hp
(I actually just run the CARB EO kit and the factory airbox on my personal car lol)
