To me, it looks goofy. It's like the design team literally just brainstormed ideas and put it together as a collage with no real vision for the overall product.

Here's my view on the subject:
There is a significant portion of buyers that buy the car for the performance/$ ratio. Many aren't first and foremost buying the Mustang because its a Mustang, they're buying it because it ticks off the performance box in a price range that they like. All the...
Think of it in purely time as a whole.
Losing 1 second from a 14 second car is a 7% reduction in time.
Losing 1 second from a 10 second car is a 10% reduction in time.
In relative terms, that is a 40% increase that 1 second makes up from a 14 second car to a 10 second car.
Nothing wrong with paying for something you like, but I'd be careful carrying that kind of debt load for that long. I'd also look at it in a more robust view of your financial situation and priorities. Allocate more to your car, but I'd give up something somewhere else.
For me, my monthly...
What assumptions are you going with i.e. interest rate and duration?
A trade off of +1% on interest and adding 12 months more to the duration of the loan would likely bring your monthly payment from 9% to less than 8%.
For me, personally I set my limit to a monthly payment of $400 or less. If...
The math on it is this:
Assumptions:
Rear tire diameter: 27.7in (between tire options this could vary rpm +/- 30 rpm at 65mph due to diameter differences)
Manual 6th Gear: 0.651
Auto 6th Gear: 0.69
RPM at 65mph for final drive
Manual
3.31: 1700rpm
3.55: 1820rpm
3.73: 1910rpm
Auto
3.15...
Here's another thought I had, most states require a police report to be filed for damages over a certain amount. Typically this amount is anything over $1000-2000. Given the $1900 price tag they're giving you, I'd check my state's DMV rules and then ask the dealership if they filed a police...
I'd ask them for their insurance information and VIN and advise them that I'll be talking to my insurance and lawyer on the best way to remedy this.
Then I'd check around to see exactly how much I could replace the wheel/tire combo. If they don't get back to me by the time I find a reasonable...
At least it doesn't actually peal :). Back in 2004, my R32 within a couple months had it's clear coat begin to delaminate all over the car. It looked like someone with a bad sunburn. They took the car back and I never saw it again.
Wheel hop is usually caused by a dynamic change in toe. When a wheel is under load toe moves slightly, as load increases and the tire breaks traction, the load on the suspension changes and toe is brought back to its normal position, which increases grip and the tire hooks again. This repeats...
