I can do the same with my gen2 pp. Oddly track mode shuts things down sooner when hanging the rear out a bit.
Can push through it though if not careful.. especially if people are on the side walk near by.
Interested to know. Looks like pass side cat might bolt to stock header. Driver side looks like a flange needs to be welded to header or re orient flange on gt500 cat and use gen1 header.
The firing order is different and the primaries come together differently than the yote. Believe it matches...
Haven't had issues. Fit great. The provided clamps are wrong size but I wanted to use different anyways. I added flex joints to each side too. Shipped out few days before their self proclaimed deadline that was listed. At least they are up front about being dicks. Many other places will happily...
Great first hand experience thank you for sharing. How's the normal shift quality compared between the two? Gear clash/nibble when cold or improved over mt82?
It matters what scale the dyno sensor was set at if they used their own sensor. Or if some random PID was being pulled from the obd2 port by the dyno. Find that out first. If they stuck their own sensor on your car, was it free air calibrated first, where was it reading from? Tail pipe or bung...
Roush cals for gen2's up and running. Glad it was brought back up. Have been waiting for it to update on its own.
The table and parameter volume is staggering. Taking time to get the hang of navigation due to the access allowed now. Knew there was more in the ecu... just needed ways to see...
How much timing change?
I only ever saw 24 degrees na on 93 and what ever I wanted on e85. Never ran boostane until boost. No issues with 18.5 to 19.5 at 10psi with 4 oz or so per tank. I suspect I could get away with another degree but meh. It's already fast and no issues with this timing for...
The ecu can learn from past KR (similar to LTFT) but the tune has to be setup for it. If it's not, it will continue to knock everytime and rely on knock sensors to react vs learn. On stock settings, 2 to 3 degrees of KR will move the learning along very quickly. And it would progressively reduce...
What's your style that they claim is the issue?
Wonder if it's more the os used and only getting so much improvement from adjusting around the bypass opening.
I don't think it's worth 7 to 10 grand when pump gas will be your true limiter. Engineer Mike is great example of how to push on pump gas. More gdi flow has worked very well for him. 700whp is about the limit most see. This shows up pretty regularly at oem levels too.
Better iat2 cooling does...
overshoot with boost and pull a degree or 2 of timing on e85 if needed to limit. Just different way to dial in cyl pressure. At the end of the day, that's what we are chasing.
@Walkingdogs
Thats in line with what id expect on 93 alone given local and head unit. I too use 4 to 5 oz boostane prof to get 97/98 octane and hold the tune around 18.5 to 19.5 depending on airload/temps. 10psi on a tvs. 1.6 to 1.75 airload depending on air quality. 19.5 at 1.6 and 18.5 at...
Some am widebands do free air calibrations to calibrate. Couldn't we do the same with KOEO? Offset tables are present etc. would have to make changes to entire table as a whole.
What's iat2 look like after a pull or 60-130?
Bet it hits hard. Love the 2.3 midrange. Even part throttle it's always present. Great numbers!
What ring gaps?
