I confirmed the brake pad measurements today (they're all fine - 6.6-8.3mm) and checked out the rotors. They look OK to me - I do see some light deposits but nothing I can actually feel, nothing that seems like it would cause problems. You can see photos at...
Using the parking brake when your rotors are hot is such a rookie error, which is why I would always do it for just a second and then let my car roll forward a bit onto the chocks. I will start exclusively turning it off in gear, chocking it, and then turning it back on to idle and cool down...
Are you measuring to the backing plate or to the wear tab? I can't imagine it's much fun to drive the car around with the wear tab rubbing on the rotor squeaking like hell.
My pads have about 3K miles and 5 track days on them. My rotors have 7K miles and 13 track days on them.
Never for more...
I am feeling a vibration from my rear brakes under moderate to heavy brake application. At the last track day under heavy braking the rear end felt like it pulled to one side, which was fun. My guess is pad deposits, since I've read the Brembo rotors on the GT350 are pretty immune to warping...
I’m out of town this week but could do Sept 10-11, 17-18, 24-25. I’ll look at Motorsport Reg and filter out any dates when there are track events happening. Shout if any of these don’t work for you.
My mistake - it's an 8 year (96 month) warranty. The vehicle's in-service date was 7/8/2019. The warranty expiration date is 7/8/2027 or 48k miles. It's a Ford PremiumCARE plan with a $100 deductible. I updated my post.
Anyone interested in meeting at Alice's in Woodside tomorrow (Sunday 8/14) morning and driving around the mountains?

Were you using one of Anderson’s original “GT350R style” wings (part AC-RS15FDMU-GR) or their later “GT350R replica” wing (part AC-RS15FDMU350-OE)? The “style” wings have a flat base and the “replica” wings have two holes and a stud on the base. The replica wing is a direct replica and has a...
Adjusting my asking price to Asking $75K as-is with 8 year bumper-to-bumper warranty (coverage through July 2027), $73K as-is without warranty, or $68K in stock form (nothing on the OEM+ modification list other than tinted windows).
It's not clear what the facts are. Ford says the R wing produces more downforce (300 lbs at 120 mph) than the swing (135 lbs) or swing + Gurney flap (238 lbs). AJ's wind tunnel test says that the R wing doesn't do much of anything, according to the video @Biggsy posted, but I don't think that...
