  1. Anyone install factory Carbon Fiber dash ?

I don’t believe that is true.
  2. Anyone have a car trailer or race ramps?

I am going from SF to Buttonwillow this weekend. I'd like to drive down with my family instead of on my own, which means towing the GT350. Does anyone in the Bay Area have a car trailer I can rent? Or race ramps I can borrow (so that I can use a Uhaul trailer)? I would need it from tomorrow...
  3. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

Agree to disagree? It really doesn’t matter.
  4. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

I was interested in trying the SC3 but unfortunately they are low inventory at the moment. I've heard very positive things about them from other drivers at HPDEs.
  5. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

OK, so, final answer is that I ordered a pair of 305/35ZR19 Pilot Super Sports for my rear axle. ($337 each from Discount Tire after 10% military discount.) I will use the Sport Cup 2s on track wheels. I'm doing this instead of using the SC2s on the street because I went back to my original...
  6. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

That's awesome you have both tires on hand @br_an. It's hard to tell what they measure due to the perspective. Would you mind sharing the tread width measurements for each as best you can figure them in person? If the 295/35 PS4S is closer to the 305/35 PSS than Tire Rack indicates, I may go...
  7. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

Good clarification. If you can believe it, there are only 2 Eagle F1 Supercar 3s available in the Western US (and 31 3Rs) in 305/30-19. Otherwise I would put those on. As @shogun32 correctly called out, the 295/35 PS4S actually has 1.7ā€ narrower tread (15% less) than the 305/30. That’s an...
  8. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

Interesting idea, but no, I didn’t consider giving up any tread width in the rear. That seems like it would compromise performance for convenience. I did consider putting PS4S in 305/30 all around, but since the car is primarily for HPDEs and spirited weekend drives then going back to the OEM...
  9. Anyone install factory Carbon Fiber dash ?

This happens all the time. The GT350R's MSRP was only $7,995 more than the GT350, but replacing just its carbon fiber wheels from the Ford parts counter will cost you $20,000. And the new BMW M3 can be optioned with carbon fiber bucket seats that are a $3,800 option - or $35,410 from the BMW...
  10. Budget GT350 whipple/procharger

None of the words ā€œbudget,ā€ ā€œGT350,ā€ or ā€œsuperchargerā€ belong in the same sentence. You should keep the GT350 as it is or sell it and get a 5.0 that you can boost. I don't know why anyone boosts these things. Stock they require 19 vibration dampeners and still have a tendency to explode.
  11. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

I ended up buying a set of Sport Cup 2s. If they are as bad in the wet as the Nittos, I’ll put the PS4S back on the front and get some Pilot Super Sports for the rear and put the SC2s on track tires.
  12. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

The 3 is not currently available via Goodyear’s website and the 3R sounds too soft for my mixed use.
  13. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

Sigh, I hear y’all. I suppose it’s time for four new tires. Michelin PS4S all around for $1600 or Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R for $1400? (I can get $150 off a set of PS4S at Costco or 25% off the S3R because I’m a USAA member.)
  14. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

While I respect the SS, as with all Michelin tires, I do think the PS4S and SC2 are superior tires to the SS. Besides, if I'm going to be mixing tires anyway, why not mix PS4S + SC2 instead of PS4S + SS? Same here. The car came with mixed brands when I bought it. It’s time to correct that
  15. Mixing tires: PS4S front, SC2 rear?

I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in 295/35ZR19 on the front of my GT350 and Nitto NT555G2 in 305/35ZR19 on the rear. The Nittos have lost traction unpredictably in the wet too many times for me so I need to replace them. I'd prefer matching tires but the PS4S only comes in a 30 aspect ratio...
  16. North Carolina Signature Wheels SV104

Any pictures of this style and color on a car?
  17. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I read in a thread here that Ford doesn't recommend that because the bumper support is an arched piece of aluminum. A pulling force would bend it (as an arch it's stronger in resisting pushing forces, like you'd experience in a front end collision). However this doesn't make much sense if the...
  18. What did you do to your GT350 today?

It was a SpeedSF event and their policy is tow hooks required (I guess because they have incidents every event 😬). They said it was fine to not have a hook if I accepted responsibility for the damage that would occur from the tow truck pulling me from wherever if needed. I read on the forum...
