It's not OEM, it's the only one I could find. From Amazon:

I've attached some pics of the single fastener/nut/hook from my trunk. I'd like to install a cargo net, but I only have one of these bastards. I can't seem to come up with the correct search term to find them anywhere. So, best and brightest, what is this thing called?
I didn't do the Navigation in motion thing. Didn't care about it. But I for sure got some new drive modes. Also, if you have the base speakers, definitely do the Speaker level out.
These are the values I used when I upgraded my 2016.

In other threads, people will also post random forscan codes. I went through a lot of threads to find the handful that I needed. In fact, most of the codes I used had nothing to do with the 4 to 8 conversion. Maybe like 2. The rest were just me screwing around modifying other stuff.
First thing I would try is wiping the APIM clean and reinstalling everything:

Follow their instructions to the letter. If you have any questions, ask here before proceeding. It's pretty easy, I did it to a 2016 after a 4 to 8 conversion. Works like...
I have a black Mustang that has similar issues. I don't have any pictures now, I'll post some later. Mine looks a bit like it was parked underneath a pine tree for a few years.
I'm the second owner, and it's also covered in scratches. The former owner clearly didn't give a damn about the...
Thanks for the recommendation. For whatever reason, the gps nav has been working flawlessly for a few days. I'm going to see if this trend lasts.
I other news, I installed the latest version of Sync3 and the latest maps using the cyanlabs tool. Worked like a champ. It's all kind of coming together.
I have recently swapped the 4" base unit to the 8" Sync3 with GPS nav. There are some issues with the GPS nav that leads me to suspect the antenna. Those that have done this swap, what antenna did you use?
I have recently completed (mostly) the 4" to 8" Sync3 conversion. I've changed some settings with ForeScan, and for the most part things work. I keep getting navigation faults, but I switch from the home screen to audio and back and the map comes back. This will happen randomly.

I got it off of ebay, as part of a kit from these guys:

The kit included the harness, bezel, APIM, ACM, and other associated cables and antennas. Worked out rather well. I don't know if they have the harness only, or where they got the harness.
