  1. IDS and FORSCAN for beginers

Forscan was scary at first, but after about the 2nd time, it's not that bad. I upgraded from the 4" screen to the 8", and added GPS, all of which requires some Forscan fiddling. After using it a bunch, I started making silly changes, like how many times the turn signals blink when changing...
  2. Question About Exposed Electrical Connection on Engine (V6)

Thanks for all the replies, I appreciate the effort. I think I will do nothing!
  3. Question About Exposed Electrical Connection on Engine (V6)

Thanks, Mike. I bought this used in March, and there were so many missing little pieces, I figured there might be a missing cover here.
  4. Question About Exposed Electrical Connection on Engine (V6)

I have a 2016 V6 convertible. This is the engine: There appears to be an "exposed" electronic connection: Is there supposed to be something covering that up? Like some sort of cable wrap or something? I've been driving around like this for quite a while, so it doesn't appear to make a...
  5. Is there supposed to be a cover above the passenter footwell?

Probably saved them 75 cents per car.
  6. What type of storage do you have for your convertible caps?

I also got mine off of ebay. Actual OEM caps were sort of hard to find.
  7. How to clean guage cluster lens?

My lens is already scratched up. Is there anyway to get a new one? I looked around on ebay for a bit and didn't find much.
  8. What type of storage do you have for your convertible caps?

I just toss mine in the trunk. No scratches so far.
  9. Can anyone tell me what this part is called?

My niece loves being in the convertible. Wish my parents would have had one when I was young.
  10. Can anyone tell me what this part is called?

I used to have a Pontiac G6 convertible, and its back seat was almost regular sized. You could fit some adults back there. I can't imagine putting a big kid/teenager/adult in the back of my Mustang. But, yeah, I can see how a car seat fits.
  11. Can anyone tell me what this part is called?

You got a car seat in the back seat? I thought the back seats were for show.
  12. What’s Your Daily Driver Alongside the Mustang?

My grocery getter is a 2018 Lincoln MKZ.
  13. White-ish Stains on Interior Door Panel (probably from water)

I guess it's good to know that I am not alone here. This is also the first time I've seen this, and I've had lots of cars in my time. It's kind of strange that it's only the window control trim that has this issue. Clearly it's made of different plastic than the rest of the panel. Do newer cars...
  14. Removed Door Panel - Now There Is A Gap

I know the problem - there is a little snap fastener that keeps the overlapping panels together. That broke pretty much instantly (and I was trying to keep it intact). I'm just wondering if anybody has glued these interior panels before, and what glue works.
  15. White-ish Stains on Interior Door Panel (probably from water)

Well, I'll give the Griot's a try; I have leather seats in my other car, so it's fine either way. If it doesn't do the job, I'll go the ebay route.
  16. White-ish Stains on Interior Door Panel (probably from water)

I have some white-ish stains, almost like scale from dried water, on parts of my interior door panels. It's a convertible, so perhaps it got wet and then dried and then some salts/soap got left behind? Anyway, I can't get rid of them. Any ideas? Photo below for reference.
