@Jaymar, @ORRadtech, Thanks for the reply. I've been inside the doors. There are bunch of holes and cavities and stuff. Is it ok to cover those up with Dynamat (or generic equivalent)?
In regards to the trunk, there is nothing back there, no subwoofer. Is it still worth it to add deadening...
I was under the impression that a subcompact powered sub did not require an amp. It is, in effect, an amp for itself. This impression could very well be wrong.
I'd like to get a little more bass in my Sunday driver. Luckily, I don't shit about car stereo systems. So I've got that going for me.
I don't need to rattle any windows, just get some bass going. With that in mind, I was thinking about getting a compact powered subwoofer and sliding it under...
Now that spring is here, I feel like it's time to start screwing around with the car again. I'm considering putting down some Dynamat or similar sound/vibration deadening material on the floor in front of the driver and passenger seat.
Is this worth the effort/expense, and if so, how does one...
I am going to install these speakers in the rear seat panel of my 2016 convertible. Do they require any adapter rings or anything else? I've got the Metra 72-5602 connector. Thanks!
I would not be surprised if somebody on this forum has encountered this or a similar issue. Creating a thread with that exact sentence as the subject would get more eyeballs on it...
There might be laws about what has to be displayed on an instrument cluster. So, liability wise, Ford, or any company might be leery to do this. Plus, the market is probably tiny.
That bezel is pretty rare on ebay, I was never able to find one. So I just have some buttons that don't do anything. That might bother some people, but I can live with it.
My thread about upgrading the infotainment unit.
I got a kit from Parts Farm on ebay for 900$. Included more or less everything. Even nav and satellite radio.

edit: The kit included screen, bezel, apim, acm, harness, antenna (gps & sirius), usb cables, etc.
i would like to help, the best I can do is removing the 4 inch screen.

I painted the grill of a Pontiac once. Used a spray paint that required baking the grill in the oven for a bit. Worked rather well, but probably not appropriate for this application. I think it was some sort of engine paint (this was over a decade ago).
