  1. How do you avoid water spots when working outside?

I always do a final rinse and I try and dry it as fast as possible. Today after I saw more spots I got out the Zaino but that did not work! I used a clay bar and then Z2, and sure its smooth, glossy, and water beads but the spots are still there! What can I do for them?
  2. How do you avoid water spots when working outside?

I also have this issue. I wash my car by hand every week but we have hard water here. So water drops dry quickly and leave spots that are very hard to remove without waxing it. Even on the glass, and windex won't clean it. I had to buy some special cleaner that is like a glass polish. I...
  3. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

That's completely normal. The vibration when you get it up to 62mph is the Flux Capacitor kicking in, preparing to send you back to 1965.:lol:
  4. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I'd love to see that video!
  5. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Is that the reason that almost every pickup truck today has a massive grille/front end area?
  6. Car got hit today while sitting at a red light

I'm curious how much lower that is than it would have been with no damage. I see I never updated this thread with the outcome of mine. Totaled. The final insurance estimate was over $13,000 for repair on a cash value of $18,000. What did it in was that top piece, they said that Ford does not...
  7. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

There are issues that Ford refuses to acknowledge with a recall and redesign, like the infamous driveline vibration. Also in 10+ years they have not figured out how to prep aluminum parts. The hood on my '07 corroded and on my '15 the paint bubbles began at just over 2 years in from the same seam!

Ok so I was off by a few thousand. But still...if I'm paying the price for this car I expect quality for $40 grand. http://www.graydanielsford.com/new/Ford/2017-Ford-Mustang-in+Brandon-1e489baf0a0e0ae8294096d18a2772c7.htm?searchDepth=7:12

Its assembled like a $20,000 car. LOL. But seriously... the engine tech doesn't make it worth $45,000. BLIS/lane change assist/cross traffic sensors....I have those in my $26,000 Hyundai.
  10. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

All this talk of how many hp will it be, and how will it compete with Camaro and Challenger, and make '15 owners want to upgrade....I just wish Ford would do one thing: step up the quality game. Make it have world-class quality especially if prices are going to be in the 40s for god's sake...
  11. Introduce yourself!!

I wish I could sell my car, buy a plane and get my license. I used to go to EAA every year when I lived up there.

Oh...that's cool! At least its something different! That would be an awesome touch for a 50th anniversary Mustang.

That California license plate....is it a new design? Are they doing away with the familiar white with script letters on top? Or is that something custom you have.

Here's another eye-opener: Search that auction site for 2015-2017 Camaros. There are 319 wrecked Camaros, but 487 wrecked Mustangs. That tells you something....

This is probably why these cars cost so much to insure. Just look at how many total loss claims there are! And this doesn't count the ones that were repaired...

How does that work? Does adult son of a deceased ex-service member qualify?
  18. Insurance Quote

Not to mention these cars are ridiculously expensive to repair (body damage). As I found out with mine last month. $13,000 for a tree hitting the quarter. Now my beautiful Mustang is going to be parted out in a junkyard.

So you had a '16 and traded it for a '17? $960/yr is equal to $450/6 mo so that is pretty huge jump up to $614!!!
