This is really good info, thanks everyone! Hopefully it can help others in the future.
Just as an FYI had a chat to DW and they said that the siphon on the top of the DW400 looses about 10% Flow.
Im going to keep the 535 and find a tee with a 1/8" outlet and see how it goes.
ESS Centri, have crank sprocket and OPG installed, JMS Bap. Was hoping to get close to 800whp on pump.
Looks like it maybe on the edge of the dw400 at WOT where the 535 may cope.
Yep youve said that multiple times. Im just trying to learn how this works is all and tie back to @Angrey example with the picture. Its pretty helpful understanding whats going on.
That's a solid explanation thanks for that. So out of curiosity, on a DW400 rated for 400LPH would the venturi model actually be giving you around 360LPH as the venturi/siphon barb is using some of that flow off the 400? Like below
Haha I’m already battling with
So have you got yours set up with a tee to the Venturi as well? you had 525s right?
I'm basically just trying to hit 800whp with a JMS BAP, seems like a stretch with the dw400 but doable with the 535.
Is the mustang not saddle bag tank? this is where I went...
I went for the 535 pump,
Here's flow test of it, works much better than the dw400

Ok gotcha, that makes it easier then, so the real question then, since im tapping into the feed is the 535 still going flow better than a dw400 which includes the second Venturi outlet?
Oh wow, that's all?
Shouldn't there be suction coming from a Venturi outlet? that would just be dumping 50% of the fuel and I would be losing half the pressure to the feed?
Perfect that all makes sense! Im not sure why hes used the gold adapter as they've specifically got one thats more restrictive and doesn't affect flow for non return set ups.
So basically:
Duckbill outlet back into the bucket.
and then tap the white line into this line:
IS there a way to...
Thanks heaps for the reply, ive got the check valve sorted, could I do something like this?
Sorry for the crude drawing, It's using this product from radium http://www.radiumauto.com/Venturi-Jet-Pump-Kit-P760.aspx
Hey i decided to do a single pump F90000295 535LPH single pump set up on my mustang over the dw400 as they flow a bit better but have now figured out that this may not work.
The DW400 has the venturi outlet that runs to the bottom of the bucket like the stock pump.
The 535LPH TI/Walbro just...
anyone running the g3x? I've gone g3 but wondering if there's a difference in terms of power/spooling on the billet compared to standard.
Im aiming for 800whp so the non billet should be fine strength wise.
Im going to be part of the ESS Family now! Put a g3 on order.
Big thanks to the help from @Brevin_G4_SS and the ESS Sales team. Lets see how they go on the RHD mustang!
