  1. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Venturi line popped off at idle, im not risking anything, just ordered this: https://www.kpmmotorsport.com.au/product/streetfighter-mustang-900hp-in-tank-fuel-module-gt-v8/
  2. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

You freaked me out a little so I just ordered a T fitting that steps down to 3/8 from 1/8 so no need for a reducer (was hard to find). Also ordered some J30R10 hose thats submergible, so should be fairly robust after that!
  3. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Still waiting on the G3 to ship, just got the pump and BAP done this weekend
  4. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Yeah I had to use a reducer. Did the clamps up as tight as they could go on the Venturi reducer as I know that will be a point of high load. The tee steps down a little (to 6mm) but not all the way to 4mm so that may help. did you just end up tightening your clamps more?
  5. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

That’s the 525, not the 535. Only dw seem to get that result. Radium and others didn’t
  6. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

not sure how to make it nicer to get a Walbro pump in there with the T fittings for the Venturi. I ran the hose longer to it wouldn't kink/restrict flow. Open to ideas.
  7. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

535 Pump went in, Very ugly with the T fittings but it works. Absolutely 0 issues starting without the check valve, started it this morning on first crank.
  8. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

anyone had there g3 orders from last year ship out yet?
  9. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

This is exactly what happened to me! Got to the post office and then I got refunded! I’ve got the new parts now looking to install this weekend. Will be interesting to see how mine runs with no check valve
  10. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

You may loose some pressure to the rails for the t fitting siphon line so will be interesting to see how much pressure you have after doing it
  11. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

ill upload pics of my 535 install when I get the t fittings from amazon... still a few weeks away shipping to New Zealand. Im surprised you hit over 800 whp on 47lb. Mine will be similar to your build, 535 pump BAP but 1500cc injectors.

exhaust port? they just vent to air, the HKS ones used to have inserts you could use to change the sound
  13. Fuel pump noob question single pump Walbro/TI no venturi outlet

haven't decided on that yet, (injectors are still in box) im assuming the stock rails are fairly limited, ideally looking for something I can put a barb fitting on now and then upgrade to a bigger AN fitting later if I change lines.
  14. Fuel pump noob question single pump Walbro/TI no venturi outlet

yeah ive figure that out now! super easy :) thanks
  15. Fuel pump noob question single pump Walbro/TI no venturi outlet

I used to have a Bosch 044 in a surge set up on my Subaru, you could hear that thing outside the car. was ridiculous.
  16. Fuel pump noob question single pump Walbro/TI no venturi outlet

Thanks for taking the time to write that up, i think i'm slightly biased to Walbro/TI as ive run them in my previous builds without issues. On the flip side ive seen threads here with issues with DW400 pumps here (likely as those are the common pumps being used on mustangs so not a fair...
  17. Fuel pump noob question single pump Walbro/TI no venturi outlet

Running G3 unit, KPM1500 Injectors, LTH no cats
  18. Fuel pump noob question single pump Walbro/TI no venturi outlet

Tough one, I've committed now, the DW doesn't have a check valve either, so given that the 535 is still drawing less power (almost 2 amps less at max pressure) ... Flows more and is half the price.. seems like a no brainer.
  19. Fuel pump noob question single pump Walbro/TI no venturi outlet

Thats not correct for the 535, many people think its just no check valve. The actual internals are different there's a bit of info out there The form factor is the same. https://www.spoolstreet.com/threads/ti-automotive-walbro-274-vs-285-vs-295.5882/ you can see it draws much less than the...
  20. Fuel pump noob question single pump Walbro/TI no venturi outlet

Hey thanks for the info! The 535 draws less amps than the dw400 and hellcat, so shouldn't be a big issue on that side. Understand the hat limitation but and if it becomes an issue will probably change to a return set up with larger lines.
