For #3 What do you mean by harsh in sport mode? The shifts in sport are intended to be a lot more firm than normal and therefore could be mistaken as harsh. Also I believe the torque management in sport is all but turned off therefore giving the harsher and firmer feel. It will also be noticed...
The comp oil-less turbos use a high temp heavy duty military grade grease which is readily available and you just hit them with a few pumps of grease at every 3000 mile oil change.
Very good info! Thank you for the update, and definitely looking forward to more! Quick question since I'm still getting educated on the GDI. What are you referring to when you say tuning in COT mode? I'm sure it's obvious but I couldn't figure it out tonight to save my life!
Thanks
Ken
Very well done! Do you have a current mod list or is your sig pretty much up to date with everything?
Are there any drawbacks to the stage 3+ for a daily driven car? Any gears deleted?
Thank you and again, great job!
Ken
This is the best news Iāve heard all year! I have been over your sight and drooled over every picture of your turbo system and how perfect it looks (even if itās under the car) and the cars themselves and saved every picture on my phone lol. As soon as I am ready I will definitely be in touch...
Beautiful group of cars! Here is a bump for you if it has not sold yet. Read through the thread detailing the course youāve had with the Hellion car. I am a firm believer in having a spare motor and even transmission. Learned the hard way when my 4r70 swapped 03 Cobra lost a motor and it ended...
Go to the body shop department of the dealership and have them look it up as if it had been damaged in an accident! Im sure they can bring up an exploded view showing all of the individual pieces for the side splitter including hardware. That would be the route I would go. I find it almost...
You are correct. I went back and reread it and I had a couple things mixed up. The following was originally posted by MMR. It was posted in 2016 so they only mention 11-16 years but would in fact include 2017. I apologize for for the mix up. The modified rockers are 11-17 5.0 rockers.
MMR:

Damnit thatās twice the āWhatās Newā tab has done that to me! I thought it was for newly posted threads, but Iām starting to think thatās not the case lol.
Must be a 10r80 feature as Iāve tried it with my fianceās 2015 with the 6r80 and it just downshifts or upshifts when released (depending on which paddle is held).
You could also by a couple of 4ā port tubes and shorten them up just long enough to pass through the rear deck and put them between the rear deck speakers so they have a nice finished look to them. That way you can retain your rear deck speakers. Alternatively you could very carefully cut a...
I was always told that subwoofers are non directional there fore it did not matter what way they face. However having them open to the passenger compartment like you mentioned by removing the rear deck speakers should be of benefit. How much Iām not sure but it would be worth trying if you donāt...
I believe the Cobra Jet āhybrid camsā are GT350 spec cams except for a cross plane crank. Thus requiring the 5.2 rockers due to the smaller base circle on the cams. The cams and followers only work together but they can be used in 5.0 heads if the rockers are slightly clearanced. MMR sells them...
