Haven't posted it on here. Haven't been to active on here recently either so could be why.

After months of fighting with an extremely loose converter I got a new stator from Suncoast that was wayyy tighter but still looser than stock.
Got it slapped in and finally matched my 60' back to what I did with circle D.

After hot lapping the car to get one final pass at the end of the night I ran 7.85 @ 174. Setting a new record for the 10r80 in the 1/8th at 5.06.

Can't wait for the tracks to open back up and turn it up more. I just started to add more power to the car now that we had some actual data on the converter.

Congratulations man!🍻. I’m in the market for an A10 mustang but have heard crazy things about the trans holding. Does yours have aftermarket parts in it or just clutches to hold that kind of power?

Unbelievable. Thats only 2 seconds slower than an early 70s top fuel dragster. A streetable car. Just amazing.

Consider auto swap your M6?

I did but after consulting the cost for the trans, new dash, shifter, converter, DS, processor, pedal assembly, steering wheel, trans cooler/lines and other associated parts plus installed was just too much. Better off starting with a new platform. You know sum I don’t?

complete swap kit is $4k with a stock converter...
https://midwaymustang.com/products/2018-2019-mustang-5-0-10r80-automatic-transmission-swap-11k-miles

plenty of fast cars with stock converter but you would at least need clutches or send It to LPF for full rebuild .

you could recoup some of that selling your MT82 .

Something to consider since you already have a very nice 10 rib whipple set up .

you are losing way more than that with what you are asking for your set up .... if you get that .

Thank you everyone!
For the 10r80 I am running LPF's stage 3+ build. This includes custom machine work to fit more clutches per clutch basket.

Very well done! Do you have a current mod list or is your sig pretty much up to date with everything?
Are there any drawbacks to the stage 3+ for a daily driven car? Any gears deleted?
Thank you and again, great job!
Ken
