Downpipe to tips, are some better than others for power gains?

My priorities are: Freeing up bottlenecked horsepower, passing state(MD)emissions, no drone, keeping cost south of 1k. I would love to have a complete system from one company but just can't afford it at this time. Any recommendations?

Every time I get near the grill on my car I smell a strong oily-gassy funk. Very similar to the hooge that comes out of my catch can. There are NO leaks anywhere...anybody else stink?

Finally changed out plugs at 16.5k and did the TB spacer at the same time. Both are easy, plug and play mods. I've been averaging 25 mpg since the car was tuned about a year ago. I will update MPG and seat-of-the-pants horsepower gains at 500 and 1000 miles.

I realize there is only so much Ford can do to update the S550 from year to year, but will there be more than scoops, stripes and a few more HP in the future?

I spotted a convertible with three fairly large guys in it today. The guy in the back obviously didn't have his seat belt on. It looked like he was sitting on a stool, his head looked like it easily cleared the top of the windshield. Just very awkward looking.
