I have an RST in one of my cars and the pedals are VERY VERY light, my RXT chatters a little but the RST is dead quiet. You will sometimes get a little SHUDDER feeling from the clutch if you don't give it enough throttle (a light flywheel can exacerbate this)
I just shattered 4th gear in my TT car with the RXT. It will happen with stock MT82 and many people have had it happen (recommended by Ben C to get the RST on a stock MT82). If you plan on building...save your money and go T56. My swap was $3500 for trans and clutch and $500 for speed box and...
I suggest an RST if you don't plan on building the transmission. I have an RXT in both of my T56 cars (one T56 XL Magnum and one built T56) and it works wonders. It is too much bite for an MT82 and will shatter 4th gear (ask me how I know lol).
After having both the manual is 10X more involved and fun. Consistency isn't there though as the auto is so easy to roll into the throttle. Nothing beats taking people for ride and pounding gears WOT shifting shooting flames and back firing though :headbang:

if you have a MT82 car I highly suggest adding a n2mb WOT BOX accompanied by a nice twin disc clutch. Once again I know I am no longer an S550 guy but I know a few guys are on the fence with power adders and I hope my videos or insight can help you choose the right side.
Still on E85...
That last pull butt hole pucker lol happened to me the other day I wasn't ready for the torque.
Ball park on that motor? They're local and I am starting my blown motor fund
