Is it just me or does someone that isn't sure what they are doing on something as important as brakes sound scary as all hell?
Glad it's working right for the OP now, but sheesh, half bled brakes is asking for trouble.
The clutch was dragging due to a warped floating plate. I'm sure I didn't break it in long enough before hitting the road course. They are a great clutch and the light pedal feel is almost worth it alone.
I have a new RST in classifieds, $625 to your door. Trust me, don't put a Ford clutch back in it, they are crap and you will likely end up in the same situation again.
The RST is a good clutch that won't fail like the OEM.
You are correct, you are going to have to pull the clutch to inspect. McLeod gave me a few things for the shop to check on the clutch to aid in troubleshooting the issue, give them a call about it. For me, I never got that far as the problem was obvious once I had it pulled out and I took to...
Some autocross pics, one fly by and one recovering from an accidental drift at about 40 mph. Went into the corner a little hot and gave it some gas to hang it out for a bit. One of the girlfriend's 2014, her first time ever autocrossing.
How many miles on the new clutch? Mine did the same (RST) after a couple of hard missed shifts. Turns out the floating plate was warped or cone shaped and the clutch dragged causing same thing you have. I got another RST and spent over a month breaking it in nicely and now it seems ok...
I have a replica GT350 Track Pack spoiler. It had a very small blemish (hard to see) so I got another one under warranty. I see you are in Oak Harbor, going to the Mustang round up, Ride and Drive specifically? I could bring it there possibly.
Funny thing is, I accidently went into a huge drift into a corner and like always, I gave it lost of gas to hold it and steer it out. I don't know if it was the fact I was quite low on fuel or the advance trac screwing up, but just as I was about to get the car back under full control, the car...
