  1. Was anyone else nervous before buying an S550?

Emt1581, sounds like many of us had the same reservations. You sound like you have been pretty diligent in making the decision and have done your homework. I was nervous too when I bought mine, but I haven't regretted it one minute. I'm on my 6th Mustang, but my 2015 is the first one I have had...
  2. 305/45/17 Mickey Thompson

What mods do you have and what times are you running? How about 60 ft times with that setup?
  3. 305/45/17 Mickey Thompson

Stangrcr67, are those tires a bit wide for the 9.5 wheels? I love the look of that setup! I have the same color and the same BMR drag springs. I'm looking for a drag wheel and tire setup. Not sure what mods you have, how does your hook with this setup? I don't have the shocks. Did someone tell...
  4. 0-60 in 4 Sec, 12 Second 1/4. What do you need?

Dang, I'm running 8.19 @ 87 in the 1/8. That is about a 12.60 in the 1/4. All I had is cradle lockout and diff bushings. Stock tires and everything else.
  5. BMR CB005 question

Nope. This is one of the best mods you can do on your Mustang.
  6. NMRA 2017 Bradenton videos

You going to Atlanta NMRA event in April?
  7. Knoxville area S550s...

Anyone ever go to Knoxville Dragway for Test N Tunes? There are a couple of Saturday times on March 11 and 18 from 12-5 and then on Fridays from 5-10 until November. I am going to the two Saturday TNTs and will make some Friday times here and there. It would be good to get a few folks down there...
  8. Exhaust journey is complete!

Great work! Even better info. I currently have Pypes Street Pro Axle back and love the sound and volume level but don't want it any louder. At some point I want to add long tubes but I don't want an obnoxiously loud car. I want the HP gain without all the volume. Maybe a combo of resonators and...
  9. NMRA Event in Atlanta. Who is going?

Ha! I was referring to the April event in Atlanta.
  10. Who all is going to NMRA event in Atlanta in April?

Planning to make that trip from Knoxville and participate in the True Street event. Should be a good time. Maybe some of the M6G folks and congregate somewhere.

  12. NMRA Event in Atlanta. Who is going?

I plan to attend Saturday and participate in True Street event. It would be fun to congregate somewhere.
  13. How many running naturally asperated still ice your intake in between runs?

Thanks for the feedback. All very valid information. I can certainly see how the composite intake just doesn't have the same issues as the big aluminum intakes did. I guess old habits die hard so I did it after getting my 2015 because it's what I did with all my old Fox body Mustangs.
  14. Using separate ECU/PCM for tunes

"Also regarding the 2015 Challengers yes you have to buy a separate computer that's unlocked in order to tune it but you still won't be able to hide it from Dodge even if you swap in the old/factory computer. The factory gauge cluster won't match up." 2015 Silver GT. Do you care to elaborate...
  15. How many running naturally asperated still ice your intake in between runs?

I usually try to get to the track as early as possible so I can pop the hood, apply ice bag(s) to the intake and CAI and let it cool as long as possible before my first pass. I try not to make more than two passes before I let it sit again. I try to let it sit for at least 30 mins depending on...
  16. How many running naturally asperated still ice your intake in between runs?

Seems like everyone did this back in the days of Fox bodies. I still do this, but I didn't see others doing it. Are they missing out or am I just a dork? I may be a dork regardless...
  17. Using separate ECU/PCM for tunes

Wow, that would really make things difficult. I didn't think it would be very feasible and it appears it certainly isn't.
  18. Check Engine light code P0308 after new tune and CAI

Search forum for that code and see if you get any hits. Good luck getting it corrected
  19. Using separate ECU/PCM for tunes

My cousin has an Challenger R/T and they have to unlock their computer to get it tuned. Some of those Challenger folks get a separate computer to tune and then can put the original back in for any service work to keep warranty in place. Anyone ever heard of someone doing that with a Mustang? Not...
