Because they tacked on a bunch of stuff that has been on previous mustang body styles. I will admit it does look better in blue now that somethings are better defined, but overall i personally think it takes away from the elegance of the S550.

While it does look that way it really all depends on the layout of the substrate inside. The cat on the DP for a WRX is a decent distance from the turbine housing but it picks up huge gains from a catless DP. The DP on the S550 definitely looks rather large and possibly pretty free flowing...
