Old news as you say, but worth remembering that the "Learnings moulded" (ouch!!!) by which he means knowledge & information gained from the BOSS 302 (444 Hp) development, including the majority of moving parts, and significantly improved breathing / porting, have been utalised into the upgraded...
That engine was quite loud, and under load / acceleration - even with my desktop sound system (loud) there is no discernible evidence of Turbo boost (to me at least)
Just like my 5.4 V8 "rocks the car", and you can hear the "engine load up" with the Torque Converter even when in manual mode. Conclusion ... Its a N/A V8 (FPC).
It would seem the 60W is ONLY available with the 100A Pkg.
The Performance Pk has is own dedicated wheels & Tyres, Eg on the 5.0 GT:
19" X 9"(F) 19" X 9.5" (R) High Gloss Black Aluminum Wheel
255/40R19 (F) 275/40R19(R) Summer Only Tires

Hi 12g, Here are the Australian & US Specs for comparison, note we (Australia) get the Performance Pack Brembo Brakes & 9.5" Wheels as standard equipment (and presumably the rest of the PP exc we get the 3:55 Diff):
With the 5.0 GT we also get the Paddle-Shift Auto option - with the standard...
We now know the option features and option pricing, so the as the V6 increased by 4.976% over the S197 $22,510 (with a $1120 increase), the current $35,310 (RRP) GT Premium should factor to circa $37,067 - before options - IF the increase is consistent with the V6..
So as a $1,120 increase over the S197 Base V6 price of $22,510 would equate to a 4.976% increase, would the same flat $1,120 or a 4.976% increase usually be applied to the $35K GT Premium (ie $1742 increase), or possibly even slightly less % as it is a larger proportional amount ?
No way is that mustang a 4 banger (sounds nothing like it) - it could be a more muffled Coyote, however the raspiness sounds to me like a FPC V8 like this:

Appologies if this has already been mentioned, however the LE - Anniversary AUTO appears to be a good "investment", with the PP / Brembos - as this will be otherwise unavailable. Should be in high demand in the future. (although luckily, we get that configuration in Australia)
You would be lucky.....to date they have ALL been glorious, very mean and evil cross-plane engines, which many have identified as having similar aural characteristics to the current GT500 5.8.:)
Arnt the average new model price increases usually circa 1-3%, contingent on prevailing economic & competitive influences ? As has been mentioned we already have a good indication of Option Prices - but not, as you say, how they "fit" & match together.
Come on 20th!
If you seriously think that the new S550 Mustang will NOT be in the BMW handling class - even with the revolutionary development of the Mustang front & Rear (IRS) suspension to that of the previous S197, you might find this 2011 Ford Mustang GT (S197) vs. 2011 BMW M3 Coupe independent...
