I think I read somewhere that the ecoboost 4 motor was going to be 350 horse, placing it between the V6 and the GT. Who knows what the truth will be but a base model 4 cylinder with say 250 to 280 hp would be nice so long as they keep the starting price around 20 to 21 grand.
Well to be fair about it, we haven't had cars with "petrol" caps on the back since the late 1970's. Odds are good that most of the people who have bought a 2005 to current Mustang have no idea that the round badge on the back is a throw back to the original gas cap. They probably just think...
You know they probably will put that fake gas cap look on it though. I can't decide if I like the look or not. It's not enough for me to not buy the car either way.
Which is ironic given that in the early days of the muscle car era around 1966 / 1967 / 1968 cars like the Mustang and Camaro were considered to be small cars and in fact were small cars by comparison to the other cars on the road. By the time muscle cars got big and heavy in the early 70's...
Nothing wrong with that at all. I tend to be in the same camp. When I had my 2010 V6 there were always other Mustang owners asking me "what kind of mods are you going to get for it." I'd tell them I didn't want any performance mods, the car was plenty of fun as it was.
Tires. Unless the car comes with some really fantastic tires from the factory, but I tend to doubt this. Factory tires tend to be middle of the road for the most part. So for me the first mod will be a good set of performance tires.
I have to agree and in fact when the Mustang was first introduced back in the 60's this was how things were done. You could get the entry level stripper model or you could option things out and add interior upgrades like the center console etc etc if you wanted to. Personally I wouldn't mind...
I just wanted to say that I've had two Mustangs in the past. A 2006 GT and a 2010 V6. Because of that I have been a member of other Mustang forums. This is the first dedicated Mustang forum that I can honestly say I enjoy paying a visit to. Every other Mustang or Ford forum I was a member of...
It looks great Chazcron. The only thing I would suggest is to check the angle along the top of the windshield. Look closely at that 2nd image where it shifts between the spy shot and the render. Now look at the top left corner of the windshield or what would be the passenger side of the car...
Great job chazcron! You really nailed it. Is there any chance you could render one in white? A lot of times white will really show the body lines on a car better than other colors.
