Very true! lol glad to see another fellow Vegas person on the forums :-P So far I've noticed a big difference with the premium. Car is sounding like it did the first day I purchased it. No knocking. I'll post an update later in the week to see how it runs for the entire week.

Update: Put in Premium Fuel (91 Octane) today and it seems to be a lot better. I’ll post another update to make sure it’s consistently better than before.

Lol it’s all good. Just make sure they don’t have you file a claim that will increase your premiums or put you at fault. Also see if the deductible is worth it (sometimes it may be cheaper paying the repair yourself than paying the deductible). Let us know how it goes!

Not sure about Los Angeles, but you can try calling your insurance and see if you’re covered for that. I would tell them you were driving and heard some debris hit your car and you pulled over and saw the damage. As long as it’s not a claim where you are at fault, you may be able to see how much...

I tried replicating the noise while idle and hitting the gas, but it only seems to happen when I’m driving on the road.

It sounds like mine, but mine is an automatic. Crap...I'm going to let them know when I get an oil change. Leaves rustling is a great description of what I'm hearing and it's so faint it's hard to get others to hear it.
