Alright it is the last thing to try that seem like it may work... I went to do it today but I have to much fuel in the tank... it looked like if I opened it up it would spill all over the place... I think I need to get the tank down to 3/4 or less... before I can open it up ...
The vacuum test seems to show it working, right... it held 10 PSI and the snapped closed when released... When I had the TB off last night the butterfly was closed with a good about a spring on it holding it closed... I also might be able to check it from the side using long needle nose too...
1. Okay ran the test it held for 10 seconds and I could hear it snap close when released... it passed...
2. I also tested the other way... vacuum on idle it was 20 PSI and when you hit the gas switched back... Does this look right... I think it does... please let me know your thoughts...
I did pull off the TB last night and everything is all connected... and moves... the spring has a good amount of tension on it to... holding it closed.
PBD is my tuner... The car is running lean and has a hesitation when first start off if you try and start off quickly... It doesn't have the issue when the car is cold. I paid a shop to install the blower... I think it was installed correctly, but I guess would have to pull the blower to check...
On the 2015--2017 you could go with Roush and have it installed buy a certified Roush ford dealer and you keep your factory warranty (3 year 36K)... the thing is you leave a lot of power on the table... Your call... I assume it is the same story for the 18 and 19. If you go with Whipple and use...
I dis connected the booster bypass still feels the same .... my installer cut the plastic tubs will the dw400 one fit into this? I watched a video last night and it looks like I can use the DW400 tubs to connect to the factory fuel pump. I will give it a try tonight.
I also called DW support... they told me that Voltage Boosters sometimes cause issues with their pumps and for the HP I have I don't need one. So I am going to bypass that tonight and see what happens.
