Yep, tremec. I just took the car out cold, let the engine oil temperature warm up and wasn’t really seeing the issue….could it just be heat soak with the trans fluid somehow? The grinding was at its worst after already driving around 2-3 hours with mix of highway and city

Did you also put in slightly less than the manual said or right on the 2.5Q? I was reading that the suggested 3.9Q in the older trans was too much once everything heated up, but if you put in 3.25 problem solved. Are you on a 30k mile trans flush/interval then? Oh and what’s the deal with our...

+1 for this. I did a similar drive with mine a couple years ago when I picked it up, felt silly doing it in the parking lot but for every car you end up behind or tractor trailer you have to pass, it’s 1000% worth it
