  1. ACE Racing Clutches Streetking Review

Stars: 1 Fitment: Poor So I had a highly rated transmission shop install an Ace Street King clutch (part RSK-300M) along with a new throwout bearing, new flywheel, and new Ford Performance pilot bearing. I went with Ace because I wanted a dual disc with sprung hub. The kit comes with this...
  2. CLUNK when taking off

At one point, I had to replace my rear wheel hub assembly too, but that sound was a constant sound that would speed up or slow down depending on how fast I was moving. This sound is just a single click that is not continuous. It just clicks once when I go from a stop to moving forward. The wheel...
  3. CLUNK when taking off

I've been suspicious of the u joints. They wouldn't cost much and replacing them doesn't seem too difficult. I need to just bite the bullet and buy a go pro to mount under the car so I can see what is happening. Right now, my throw out bearing is making noise, my passenger side muffler has...
  4. CLUNK when taking off

Did you ever figure this out?
  5. 6060 trans conversions what clutch and what throw out bearing?

Just seeing if you might know. When installing a twin disk clutch on my 15 GT the stock throw out bearing is about 3/4 of an inch too long. I called the clutch manufacturer and they told me I need to get the throw out bearing used on 2014 GT500's because it is shorter. Im not really trusting of...
  6. Stock throw out bearing is too long????

So I bought an Ace twin disk clutch (part number RSK-300M) for my 2015 Mustang GT, and the OEM throw out bearing is too long for the kit to fit. I called ACE and was told I needed to get throw out bearing part number DR3Z-7A508-A which is used on GT500's from 2010-2014. Apparently it is...
  7. Low Brake Fluid Sensor problem

Hey did you ever figure this out? Got the same problem. Would save me some time trouble shooting if you did.
  8. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

I may be misinterpreting what your last question is about. Just to be clear, you are asking about the brake switch that has the button that the little nub piece rests against when the brake is not in use? If so, you don't have to remove that sensor. You install the nub piece on the pedal. It's...
  9. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

I had the same thought about the magnets but decided that if it destroyed the sensor I could take care of it then haha Kuddos to you for doing it the right way. If the magnet destroys my sensor at a later date I'll be sure to update on here. I've had the magnet for a little over a month now.
  10. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

All you have to do is hold down the button for 5 seconds to turn off AdvanceTrac. It's the same exact step you are supposed to take when you datalog for an aftermarket tune. If you just push it once, it won't work. You have to hold the button down for 5 seconds. I had the same exact issue with...
  11. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

You have to hold it down and wait until it gives you a message on your dash. It tells you how to in the owners manual. You get different settings on your traction by either tapping it once, or double tapping, or holding down. You need to hold it down to truly turn it off. A single touch won't work.
  12. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

The replacement part is such a huge pain in the ass. The magnets take seconds and hold really strong. They won't shift from there spot. Even if you wanted to remove it, it takes some real effort.
  13. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

Hold down your traction control button for five seconds or until the message in the dash tells you that you've turned off your traction control. Should fix the throttle issues. You won't be able to use cruise control until you fix the issue.
  14. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

It worked for my car when I had the same issue.
  15. Brake Light Switch (near pedal) Failure

I doubt it will be a problem again, but if you turn off your traction control by holding the button down for 5 seconds, it will eliminate that sluggish problem with the throttle that you had. The traction control thinks you're hitting the brakes and speeding up so it kills signal to the throttle.
  16. Bullet resonators and MBRP cat back?

Oooh okay. So they basically just had to separate the two pipes by cutting the squares and then were able to place them where they needed to. Planning on doing it myself. How much did they charge you for install?
  17. Bullet resonators and MBRP cat back?

What did you have to do to make it fit on the mbrp?
  18. Anyone seen an ACE clutch review?

I recently installed a 2015 Mustang GT Roush stage 2 supercharger equivalent with Lund tuning. I'm wanting to get a new clutch and was considering ACE because I saw them on the Shelby site as the company that makes Shelby clutches. I can't find any reviews and it's hard to find all that much...
