  1. Is the Performance Package worthwhile?

SUPERCHARGER WITHOUT BREMBO BRAKES OH MY GOD!!!! AND HOW WILL THE CAR EVEN TURN WITHOUT THAT OFFICIAL FORD PERFORMANCE STRUT TOWER BRACE!! If only we could ALL give such great advice as running the performance pack 3.73 gears with a supercharger. It's a brilliant idea!! You should do it!! GREAT...
  2. Higher mileage (50k+ miles) manual cars, check your clutch pedals

There is a light blue clevis that will need replaced as well. For some reason it is sold separately. The assembly comes with a new clutch master cylinder so you're good there. You'll need a turkey baster or something like it to remove the fluid from the brake master cylinder. I taped a straw...
  3. Higher mileage (50k+ miles) manual cars, check your clutch pedals

You're in for the biggest pita install. Just know that. Make sure you remove the sunglass holder, unbolt the obd2 port, and remove the clutch master cylinder first. That will make it about as easy as it can possibly get. Oh, and please remove the driver's seat.
  4. Every member here needs to sign the RPM act !!

Union workers really are some of the worst employees you could have. Probably took time off from a Trump created job to go vote for Biden.
  5. Every member here needs to sign the RPM act !!

Some guys enjoy their "clean" clutch spring mod more than a supercharger I guess.
  6. Every member here needs to sign the RPM act !!

Actually, at one point, a great group of politicians gave the mentally ill the OPTION to leave mental institutions if they wanted to. This has made it very difficult for family members to get help for their mentally ill relatives that refuse help. That is very much a reality which is that...

Thank you very much for that, Plato. Lovely. Whatever you care to classify"removing our modified vehicles," as being in a classier manner. In a way that is heroic and everso bold and wise. Perhaps you could C4 your car and quote Socrates. That might make a difference. "We will find a way to...
  8. Every member here needs to sign the RPM act !!

The purpose of getting people to sign is to avoid losing our cars. So getting rid of the politicians that are pushing getting rid of our cars is even more productive. If they are not in office, they won't have any say on this to begin with. There is only one party pushing the Green New Deal...
  9. Every member here needs to sign the RPM act !!

To be fair, we're requesting people to communicate with senators and representatives. The heart of it is politics.
  10. Every member here needs to sign the RPM act !!

And it's odd that more people are not saying this. It's as though people are trying to be easy to work with by saying "oh well then let me at least have a race car for the track," rather than saying , "no to all this crap. I get to keep my car, not pay high taxes for owning it, and drive as many...
  11. Every member here needs to sign the RPM act !!

When repeatedly in the same predicament, one must know why they are in that situation in the first place otherwise the issue will continue to arise. If you're curious as to why this is even worse this time around, look at who is in control of your federal government right now. So yes, people...
  12. Every member here needs to sign the RPM act !!

I've already emailed my senators and representatives in Texas. I feel more needs to be done though. People that love driving cars like ours need to no long support politicians that support taking them away from us. Those politicians fly on private jets as they have their noses in the air toward...
  13. Anyone else get this? Weird hesitation.

I can only speak for certain on the NGauge, but I would think most tuning devices can perform a crank relearn. The NGauge is handy because it can be mounted in the car and can do crank relearns, access data, and scan for codes. It's almost worth having even if you don't have a tune to load.
  14. Anyone else get this? Weird hesitation.

These cars have sensors on everything, so an engine problem can possibly have nothing to do with the engine. Try holding down your traction button until "Advance Trac off" appears. That is different from advance Trac sport mode, and is different from just pressing the button once for a split...
  15. Is the Performance Package worthwhile?

The Torsen differential is best for people tracking the car. The trac lok diff is better for drag racing than the Torsen. Depends on what the car will be used for. Most guys just honk three times and hit the accelerator on the highway so Torsen does nothing for you. If you plan on doing the...
  16. Higher mileage (50k+ miles) manual cars, check your clutch pedals

If there was a safety recall on pedal assemblies, and I was a tech at a dealership with a long line of Mustangs waiting for theirs, I think I'd quit. That repair is the spawn of Satan. Anything but that. Anything.
  17. Higher mileage (50k+ miles) manual cars, check your clutch pedals

I'd almost rather reinstall my supercharger than do that replacement ever again.
  18. CLUNK when taking off

Alright, so after replacing the rear thrust washers and axle nuts, the click is completely gone! I did the passenger side first. Passenger side washer didn't seem to have any damage to it, and after driving around the block I could still hear the click. When I inspected the driver side thrust...
  19. Anyone else get this? Weird hesitation.

Did you ever figure out this issue? I hope so, been almost two years. If I had read this sooner, I would have tried using a vacuum on the brake master cylinder to see if maybe you have air in the clutch system. Sometimes a scary issue can be a simple fix. Might have been a clutch hydraulic issue.
  20. CLUNK when taking off

So I'm going to replace the thrust washers between the wheel hub and the half shafts. I'll post later to let you guys know if there's any change. I've read a lot of people replacing the thrust washers to resolve the same issue. In fact, Ford had a TSB about the thrust washers and seems they...
