Bobs Guard and my Magnetic in my driveway this morning both sitting on a squared setup. First time I've seen a Guard metallic in person, what a beautiful color.
Awesome! I ordered my HO kit a little over a week ago. Hopefully I'll get shipping information soon as patience is not my strong suit. Please share your results.
Considering that the OE 20" wheels are a 20"x9" squared setup, I find it interesting that For would void your warranty for doing something they already do at the factory. But then again they do tend to fight anything they can to get out of warranty work. "Wait you didn't use Motorcraft oil on...
Just installed my Redline hood struts yesterday and I can tell you closing the hood is not an issue. Awesome product! Very well packaged with great instructions, templates and even includes the step bit for the one hole you need to make in the battery cover.
I typically go to Frontier and never had a problem. Jim the service manager used to be the SVT rep for the dealer and is a pleasure to work with. One of the techs drives a 2015 Magnetic GT this in the process of going Supercharged and is really good with the new Mustangs. I'm curious as to why...
I finally decided but I must say this was a tough decision for me. My car is a daily driver and sees 100 miles a day so reliability was at the top of my list. 2nd was ease of installation and third was bang for the buck. So I decided on the procharger HO kit. Not that the whipple isn't a great...
Leaning towards procharger simply due to ease of install and the much lower price point. But the whipple looks so much better and delivers power quicker.... Decisions, Decisions...
From what I've researched so far, it's possible to maintain the same fuel economy as a N/A vehicle while running forced induction as long as you have a proper tune. However, I do understand that spirited driving will most definitely drain your tank a lot faster with boosted applications.
But...
My goal is to have a reliable smog legal daily driver without sacrificing fuel economy. But I also want more power, a lot more power. It's as simple as that.
I can't make up my mind.... What would you go with and why? I daily drive my car to the tune of 100 miles a day, 5 days a week. With that being said, I WILL be supercharging my GT. What do you guys think the best blower would be for my scenario?
I haven't heard anything in regards to the Pro-Charger stage 2 being CARB legal, or even trying to go that route. Considering that currently that's the most cost effective option that allows you to keep all the factory bracing it is the most tempting option. But whipple and Roush seem to be the...
If a Supercharger isn't CARB legal when I buy it, but is then certified after the fact, does the CARB # become applicable to superchargers that were sold prior to the certification?
What are my options? I'm in California and plan on supercharging my 2015 GT. What supercharger can I buy today that will be CARB legal and pass emissions inspection when it needs it in 5 years? I want to do this once and never worry about it again.
My wife occasionally drives my car and she's been known to fiddle with her phone on rare occasions. She wouldn't dare try that on a manual. That made my decision very easy. Manual all the way!!!
