Iv seen a dozen 350s in Nor-Cal over the past few years, a few in Sac, a few in the Bay area, one all white one up on Lombard St in SF and a few more just out and about in the countryside + there are always a few at Thunderhill. I have come across only 1 R ever and it was also at...
Whenever and whatever wheels I go with i plan on a 19X10 square settup so not an issue for me. What about RTX quality? lots of people have the SVEs and are happy with them, although not a lot of info on how they hold up on the track bounching on/off curbs etc.
Seems there are at least 2 options for GT350R replica wheels; SVE (Sold by LMR) and RTX (Sold by CJ Pony Parts).
They are both priced similarly, both offered in 19X10 and both flow-formed/similar weights. Any advantage to one or the other? Pros/Cons? Which would you choose? Any others out there...
I have this settup and have been really happy with it for both track and street. 3.73s are perfect with the added RPM. I generally shift at 7000 when giving it the full beans...that leaves me a few hundred RPM of error room. 1-4 rip considering how simple the settup is.
Like an actual Rolls Royce Merlin?...forget it...impossible. If your talking about a Rolls Royce V12 out of say a Phantom, it could probobly be done with a lot of custom fab work and enourmous cost, Im sure the firewall would have to be cut out and moved back...id say not worth it.
Also should...
Since were onto the wild Ideas....what he ^ said but make sure you get a Coyote F150, then swap motors with your Mustang....build yourself a Raptor Killer...you already have the Motor for it.
Velossa Big Mouth
Tow Hooks if you ever plan on going to the track
Mishimoto Oil Cooler if you plan on lots of track work
You already have a PP Radiator, but then again you do live in AZ, Mishimoto Radiator...also if you plan on lots of track work.
Honest feedback so dont get butt-hurt - Your motor/blower/trans setup and the bulk of your uninstalled stuff are the most desirable parts of your car, your exterior mods (especially the widebody kit) will make it nearly impossible to sell at near any price. Put another way; If I had the kind of...
I should also mention that I installed the FP oil separator at the same time as the PP2 kit. So i never ran the PP2 kit without an oil separator, I guess some people complained about ping/knock and said you need an oil sep to avoid that issue, but I cant speak to that.
CJ Pony Parts - $745.25 with a discount code but that was back in December of 2016, the power packs had just been released, infact I pre-ordered through CJPP in September of 2016 and it drop shipped from Ford Performance in early December.
Installed myself, had my ASE certified neighbor (who...
A year and a half/8000 miles later including some track time, lots of canyon/Mt road spirited driving, sea level to near 10k ft elevation, 20ish to 110 degrees F. The car rips compared to stock, I am still very happy with PP2 including the no lift shift feature. No ping/knock, nothing wierd, no...
Thats a good one, as long as you dont chop top the roof, paint idiotic flames or put a big spoiler on the rear end!....obviously edited for a little PC
Your less than 20k away from a 911 GT3...no way would I spend that kinda money on whats nothing more than a modded Mustang GT, I dont care what name is pasted on it.
