I have a GT-350 manifold on the way along with a ATI super damper. Only other mods on the car are suspension and the resonator delete along with the flex pipe removed. I currently am running the Lund flex fuel tune, stock intake box with a K&N drop in and a AirRaid MIT tube. Should I try and run...
You are welcome sir... And I did not see in any posts that the problems with the first generation were fixed... You have me sold. Is the intake tube still the same size? Because it was a tight fit. Glad you guys got those issues sorted out, will be purchasing... Again :)
I was one of the first buyers of the PMAS intake last year... The fit and finish was terrible. The plastic was junk. The threads on the fittings for the vaccum lines either were lose or when I tried to tighten them stripped. The intake barely fit. And when I say barely you had to drop the hood...
Higgs, what is the most important aspect of design of an aftermarket intake? Bigger tube size? Shape? Have you tested the stock intake with your gt-350 manifold setup? Is there a point where the stock intake restricts flow? The Paxton kit draws through the stock intake. Naturally aspirated I...
I deleted the resonator and the flex pipe with an H-pipe. Couldn't be happier. No rasp, just loud enough. Realistically not gaining anything with a cat back, the cost of one isn't justified.
Biggest positive to me between Lund/BAMA is when I showed up to my only E85 gas station in town and they were out of E85... put in 91 and drove away. If I had a SCT bama combo I would have had to go home get my SCT4 and wait to load the 91 tune then go and fill with 91.
