If you want lights in there the Hella Black Magic lights would look nice in the openings.
They're really too high for feeding brake ducts but would feed a pair of turbochargers nicely.
I added and activated the active exhaust to a 2019 today successfully.
I added the factory mufflers, actuators, and harnesses. Enabled active exhaust in the cluster using Forscan, and enabled the active exhaust in the tune using HPTuners.
In HP Tuners it is just a few check boxes to enable...
I wanted to update this thread to let everyone know that I added and activated the active exhaust on a 2019 today successfully.
I added the factory mufflers, actuators, and harnesses. Enabled active exhaust in the cluster using Forscan, and enabled the active exhaust in the tune using HPTuners...
I've had to replace 10+ failed helicoils over the years and will only use Timeserts now. If they decide to repair the threads instead of replacing the transmission it may be worth seeing if that's an option.
Best of luck getting her fixed and back on the road!
My experience with the Quickjack support has been frustrating so far. Mine showed up with a part missing so I submitted a ticket. They responded quickly saying they would overnight me a replacement.
Then they never shipped anything. Called them back and they apologized and said someone didn't...
I had a pristine Evo IX SE with 23k miles on it. Paint and overall car were spotless. Decided to drive it to work since the weather was nice and parked way in the back of the lot next to a curb to protect a side.
Came out at the end of the day to find the side of it completely blasted with...
The dealer rebates for new cars plus 0% financing makes them a sweeter deal than buying a used one of the same model year.
Drop the price to below what you can buy it for new and it'll sell. GLWS
I've had damage that looked just like that before from a careless landscaping crew at work.
After they spent $3k to repaint my car they would only do their work on evenings or weekends when the lots were empty.
Seems like it's all how much exposure to it you receive. Low exposure it's a mild case of the flu, high exposure and you're in the ICU or dead.
POTUS got an experimental antibody therapy under development since he's buddies with the CEO. We ain't getting that treatment.
I hope you recover...
Ford recommends 5W-20 in the US for fuel economy in support of CAFE. Thinner oil gives slightly better fuel economy and debatably worse engine protection.
For the rest of the world they recommend 5W-30 for these engines.
If the deal is good enough, go for it but pay with a credit card. If you don't get the item it is easy to dispute and let the credit card fight with them.
I swapped out my OEM PP1 wheels w/ the 4s tires at 1200 miles for a square 20x10 setup with 285/35 A/S 3+ tires.
I've put a little over 3k miles on them and have been very happy with their performance. Living in the Mid-Atlantic, I want a tire that sticks year round.
I really like this hood but in certain pictures it looks like doesn't have a smooth transition into the bumper cover.
It looks like there is a bump which the aftermarket aluminum GT500 hoods don't have.
For the 2019 you'll need to check if you have the wiring running to the back of the car for the exhaust.
Look for this plug: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/attachments/plug-jpg.165349/
Check to see if you have the fuse and the relay too. (second page of this thread)
If you have all of that...
I found a seller on eBay with two new takeoff active exhaust systems. I reached out and asked if they would cut the mufflers off and just ship me them non-freight. They were totally cool and had no problem sending just the mufflers through UPS. They arrived in perfect condition.
They have one...
I was able to disable the unlatch/shitty audio engage through Forscan.
It still mutes for a second but the audio stays the same as with the top up.
