  1. Mustang viewing SE QLD (Updated with Photos)

Agree about the bonnet, I felt the same when I sat in it. I was looking at purchasing an ecoboost, but once I sat in the car and seeing the long bonnet, I knew I had to get the V8. Did they start it up? I was allowed to sit in it (and give it a bit of throttle) whilst it was running. For those...
  2. Mustang viewing SE QLD (Updated with Photos)

The yellow Fastback is on display tonight at Bryne Ford (Gympie Rd Kedron). They have a nice big sign with yellow Mustang on it and actual car is visible from Gympie Rd. The same car will be on display at Metro Ford next week (19th).
  3. RHD 2016 Mustang Heading for export (Pics)

That's how they are for the RHD Mustang. Lots of discussion about this already in the UK and Aussie areas. Mustang is not alone in having the park brake and cup holders on the wrong side.
  4. RHD version found in India - with pictures

The Mustang's built between 1987 and 2004 had the Hand brake on the right hand side and the Americans lived with it being on the opposite side to the driver. Also lights of current cars on sale in Australia have the hand brake on the left hand side, so the new Mustang will not be the only car in...
  5. 2016 UK version owners manual in PDF

Majority of the salesman have no idea about the Mustang. One dealer I spoke to didn't know about the pony projection lights. The Escape in the US (Kuga for the rest of the world) has the remote start, but the Kuga never got it and it's been on sale in Australia for 2 years, so I don't think...
  6. 2016 UK version owners manual in PDF

Posted overnight on the UK section, the owners manual is now on the Ford UK owners section in PDF. http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/Catalog/owner_information/2016-Mustang-Owners-Manual-version-1_om_EN_07_2015.pdf
  7. 2.3 or 5??

My original plan was to purchase the 2.3, but after seeing and hearing the 5.0 GT at one of the recent dealer viewings here in Australia, I'm now going with the GT. Siting in the car at the viewing and looking out over the bonet I knew straight away it needs to have the V8 under it. This will...
  8. Mustang gone from Ford Website

It's still on the brochure and price list page...
  9. New Mustang brochure with full specs coming soon

Went to 3 Ford dealerships last week in SE QLD and only one of them (Sunshine on the Gold Coast) had the new brochure, so I now have one. One of the other dealers was waiting for them to arrive and the other (big dealership in Brisbane) had no idea there was a new brochure. In fact the...
  10. Adaptive cruise control

Don't know if it's the same system, but the ACC on the Kuga is located behind the grill (like the Mustang). We aren't getting it in Australia either, so I think it's more of Ford being cheap and their understanding of a 'Global' car is different to us buyers. They did the same with the Kuga...
  11. Adaptive cruise control

The Ford Kuga (built in Spain)and exported throughout Europe,UK, Australia etc has ACC available in the Titanium and has done for 2 years.
  12. New Mustang brochure with full specs coming soon

Ford Australia' recent brochure's for most of their cars been very average and full of Photoshop photos. Two years ago when we were looking at the Fird Kuga, the brochure we got was full of photoshopped photos taken in the UK, USA and Europe. Ford Australia are so bad, that 2 years later the...

  16. Mustang viewing SE QLD (Updated with Photos)

First photo, top of my (thinning) head compared to the roof. Second photo, front LH seat in most rearward position and basically no leg room. Third photo, my son's legs showing the leg room with the front RH seat set for my driving position.
  17. Mustang viewing SE QLD (Updated with Photos)

No problems Bushranger, hopefully others saw it and took the opportunity to view it. Agree about the yellow, so much better in person. Both my son and I took turns sitting in the back (RH side) with the front seat in the position I would have it at. Leg room is not a problem, but as everyone...

  19. Mustang viewing SE QLD (Updated with Photos)

Sunshine Ford put it on their Facebook page last night; they did however have an invite only viewing last night. Don't thing many people saw the post as the entire time I was there (40 mins) only two other's came in to look at it and one of them was their to purchase another car.
