Agree, the interior photos of the black RHD are of the Premium interior.
The only obvious changes between Premium and Premier interior appears to be the real leather/stitching on the dash panels and soft touch door panels. Searching the US section, there are comments saying that the seats...
If you search 'Interior Photos' on here you will find the there are 3 trim levels in the US cars.
Base: Cloth seats, pastic door inserts and fake leather/stitching on the dash panels.
Premium: leather seats, soft touch door inserts with white stitching and fake leather/stitching dash panels...
Thanks Monty. I'm a little disappointed, but I will get over it as I've always wanted a factory built RHD Mustang. The Australian automotive media on the other hand will dislike this and will make a big deal about it when the Mustang finally hits our shore.
Are you able to provide details on the door trim ie is it hard plastic, the stiching on the seats and the quality of the dash panels ie real leather and stiching or fake?
I think they will all be unloaded in Melbourne first. I'm in QLD and my Kuga was shipped to Melbourne, Ford AU carried out the QC there and then the Kuga was trucked north.
Given these are the first cars for Australia, if I was running the marketing department at Ford I would have turned the loading of the cars onto the ship into a media event.
I don't think we will know what side they will be on until the first car arrives. The the car in videos and photos of the RHD unveiling (pre-production car) the UK last week had the blinkers on the left side.
I wouldn't trust anything Ford Australia says, given their track record with Mustang...
Nice find, but like Ford AUs recently (August) updated brochure it's still full of photoshopped photos. Even the close up instrument cluster photo has the US speedo.
Can't believe how much driving they are doing in the cars. My last 2 new cars had less than 20km on the clock when I got them, but watching that video I think the Mustang will be delivered with more than that.
I'm in the aviation sector and if the would "shall" is included in a manual etc than it's a mandatory requirement. If the word "should" is used than it's optional (however good practice is to comply)
Q Ford called me the day after lease approval and told me NOV 16. A few days later SG called and advised the estimated delivery date is 30 Nov 16. So there is a chance your date will be around the same time.
A lot of the reviews in the US knocked the small mirrors, saying they were useless. The yanks are lucky as they have the option of BLIS, which makes the small mirrors ok.
