Sure hope you're right Jim. I have 2 sets of GT mats for my 2014. One set stays on the floor. The driver's side shows heel wear but it's far from being worn through.
A second set is stored in the trunk...those are pristine and I overlay them on the daily mats for car shows. I was going to...
Yet the embroidered GT trunk mat is still available as are mats with a running pony and the Tri-Bar. And on the Carid website they show LLoyds mats with the Ford Blue Oval so it doesn't seem to be a licensing issue.
Checked the usual suspects...CJ, LMR, Am Muscle.
Lots of Shelby, Hurst, Roush, running pony choices but no simple GT mats. I have a set from my '14 GT but they don't look like they'll fit my incoming '18.
Probably a moot point in asking since I ordered my '18 GT 'vert with the option and the car is currently in production.
But I'm curious never the less. YouTube vids are worthless because of all the audio variables. What are your 'real world' opinions?
I personally think the S550 convertible has cleaner lines without a spoiler. I deleted it on my LB 2018 order. But there's no question in my mind that the coupe benefits from a spoiler.
Strictly my personal opinion, but when I first saw LB in person I was underwhelmed. The color did nothing for me and I was disappointed that DIB was discontinued. I was planning on getting an '18 GT convertible and after owning a black '14 GT 'vert black I had had it with dark finishes. As...
That was my first impression when I saw the pics and read your description. The initial point of impact appears to be the passenger side front based on the crush, and the remaining damage to the nose appears to be of a glancing blow nature. The car might have been still sliding at an angle and...
I'm surprised that the shop said that. There are numerous airbags in today's vehicles...knee bolsters, side airbags in the seats for a t-bone hit, side curtains (under the headliner on either side of the roof in the event of a roll over), and of course the steering wheel and passenger side dash...
I ordered an LB GT convertible on 2/3. Nothing remarkable...400A, 6 spd, Black Accent, Active Exhaust, spare tire.
I still don't have a VIN after 7 weeks. At this pace I might not see the car until the end of May.
I'm a retired auto physical damage claims adjuster of 34 years, the last 7 spent as a total loss/salvage specialist.
Based on the photos, the car is repairable. It doesn't seem to be the type of impact that would have caused significant structural misalignment. It's a low offset frontal...
I ordered an '18 GT convertible on Feb 2nd. I called my dealer today and was told that Ford has accepted the order but has yet to release a VIN. At this rate I don't expect to see the car until May, 2 months into car season.
