I agree, but where do we start? There are so many different variables...
1) Model year
2) V-6 vs. EB vs. GT
3) 400A & Active Exhaust vs. 401A & Active Exhaust (2018)
4) AT vs. 6sp
5) PP1, PP2, Magnaride
6) Other tech option combos (Blis, Adaptive CC, etc)
I have an '18 GT....400A...
I'm not in favor of car washes except for my leased Fusion. My Mustang is DIY.
I recently traded in a '14 GT 'vert. I regularly washed the top using a wet, soap-less cloth to loosen the dirt, then followed it with Woolite spray carpet cleaner and stiff nylon brush and then a wipe-down with a...
My recently traded-in 2014 GT had the black leather interior. Usually the top went up when it was parked for any length of time, but there were instances where it was left down, even on a hot day. I kept a large white beach towel in the trunk and placed it on the seat. Never a problem. That...
Just my personal opinion, but there's a lot going on with your car...red interior, black roof, Black Accent Pkg, all of which look great on white. All the stripes just detract from how nice looking it is. Keep it clean and simple. It doesn't need them.
As far as I'm concerned stripes don't...
I'm in a different mindset with my '18 GT ragtop than I was with my '14 GT 'vert. I did the mod thing, received a fair amount of trophies and awards (many undeserved) and it constantly turned heads even up until last Monday when it was traded in.
IMHO I felt that the retro vibe of the S197...
I'll have to look at my owners manual gain. I prefer Sport+ and Sport exhaust mode.
I see that you have the A10. I have the 6sp....wonder if that makes a difference.
I just got my 2018 GT with active exhaust and it always defaults to normal too. Both the Sport driving mode and Sport exhaust are easily changed with the toggle switch under the display. Small inconvenience to me. It might annoy others.
Why are you arguing this point? I simply pointed out an undeniable truth that adds credence to the growing Mustang lore which ties into the subject of this thread. Whether it's unimportant is simply your opinion, but that's not fact.
Continuous production is the operative phrase. The Corvette ran continually for 49 years from 1953 - 1982. The Mustang is in it's 55th unbroken year counting the 2019 models.
Once Corvette broke the cycle in 1983, the clock stopped.
Took delivery on 4/30...told the dealer no wash or detail. I drove it home with all the seat covers, dash, and door protection still on. Spent the whole next day getting intimate.
Although it's a great color, I never understood why Kona Blue was offered on the 50th LE. Wimbledon White and Poppy Red were the two most widely advertised colors back in 64.
Got the damn knob off...wrapped a piece of cardboard around the OEM leather and used a Stilson pipe wrench.
When I hand tightened it the shift pattern was at 90 degrees. When I backed off to align the pattern it was too loose and Loc-Tite didn't help.
Luckily I still had the hard rubber...
