Venum, you missed the point. Many things go into having a balanced car. Most track rats explore all venues to ensure best performance. The original story line did not indicate this was done. Out west we do not allow cars with different mfg. labels to run on the track. We've had Bad...
Did I read that right, you are complaining about the car floating when you have different tires/manufacturers at each end. Bad, bad, bad. Different side wall flex and harmonics will cause that. And you don't mention tire pressure. Same front and rear, side to side. Alignment and stance...
I run the MP Cup2 tire and achieve 1.28 g turns on a regular basis. I can drive the inside line on P cars and BMW M4s w/o any problems. Great in the wet. 9 days with 41 heat cycles. Also recommend Nitto 01's.
I use "RotorPros" product on all 4 corners. I don't know how to upload their web page to this device. So look them up. Good product at a fair price. No squeal ever. Consistent stopping. No cracks with a full season of track abuse. 1.24 g under braking without abs kicking in.
At the track we have always, during cool down, turned the heat all the way up and fan on high to extract heat from the cooling system. Brings down engine temps pretty fast.
When you drive thru standing water deep enough that it gets on the pulley's, then you stand a good chance of soaking major electrical parts and your air filter. Thus hydrolic damage to the engine. Rent a car!
