I have a built 5.0, forged rod piston bottom end with the rings gapped to 0.025 for boost, 3.672 bore.
3.672 x 0.007 =0.0257 using Manley ring gap chart
mods:
ess superchargered 80mm pulley
Fore innovation dual pumps
1300id injectors
Holley low ram mani with stock throttle body
Running full E85
issue with the car is it starts but runs lean, 10.3-10.8 does a little pops and bangs then stalls and doesnāt want to start again until after 10-15 minutes, I have no codes on the car. I did a smoke test for vacuum leaks everything was good and sealed, made sure my timing was good 4 times, brand new vvts, new phasers, new HPFP, new ngk 6510 spark plugs gapped to 0.024.
I did a compression test all cylinders came out to 60 psi, I added oil and all went to 90 psi, is this something to worry about on a brand new build motor with no run time on it?
once I added the oil the car ran and stayed on for at least 5 minutes with AFRs at 8.3 until I saw I didnāt have my fuel system activated, di regulator side was at 0 psi and port injection regulator was at 60psi, I turned on my fuel system both regulators at 60 psi and tried starting it again it wouldnāt start again and when it did start after a few minutes it ran lean again and stalled even when I added oil into the cylinders again. Iāve been chasing this issue for months spent hundreds and thousands of dollars and I canāt seem to figure out the issue
